The Canopy
After years of pure relaxation on Trudaine Avenue in the 9th arrondissement, Hortense has packed her bags to set up her yoga studio between Belleville and Goncourt, in a space that’s definitely worth a detour. Imagine this: a bustling street that hides in a sheltered courtyard an almost 300 m2 tranquil space, bathed in natural light. A true oasis of peace in the heart of the capital, where a cozy café, a colorful painting studio, a massage space, and two yoga rooms are working together to offer us the best wellness temple in Paris. Open every day from morning till evening, The Canopy brings together nearly ten passionate teachers, offering a variety of classes throughout the week and workshops on the weekends. What’s on the schedule? Pilates, Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin… and Hortense's specialty, Nidra, the
yoga for sleep that completely relaxes you in just 20 minutes, thanks to a state of semi-consciousness.See this post on Instagram

Whether you prefer Ashtanga, Hatha, or Integral (those are the ones I’ve tried), the classes are absolutely fantastic! Never more than a dozen people in sessions, and the rooms are quite cozy: it’s the perfect place if you’re looking for teachers who genuinely care about you and give you feedback. You’ve guessed it, it’s my favorite studio. Qee also offers mindfulness meditation classes in a 6-week workshop for those who want to slow down a bit and focus on what really matters.

Bikram Yoga
Warning, Bikram yoga is a very specific style that may not be for everyone. Nicknamed "hot yoga," it is practiced in a room heated to 40°C with 40% humidity in the air, and the class lasts 90 minutes. In short, Bikram yoga is amazing, but you need to know what you're doing and if you can handle it! As for the space, it’s clean, the welcome is warm, and the instructors are attentive. You come out soaked, exhausted, but oh-so-relaxed.
