Playground Duperré, 22 Duperré Street - 9th Open from 10am to 8pm in summer
The oldest
At 14 Trévise Street, you can find the oldest sports field in Europe! Located within the UCJG (Christian Union of Young People, YMCA in English), the field has been hosting athletes for 122 years. It is even in this gymnasium that the first basketball game in France and in Europe took place. Today, the legendary field built in 1893 has a very vintage look with its Hungarian herringbone-style parquet and is no longer regulation size. But the place offers a great history lesson to those who venture there to play. It is sometimes loaned to associations for games, performances, meetings or filming!

Emile Anthoine Sports Centre 9, rue Jean Rey - 15th Open from 7 am to 10 pm all year round The most New York style The playground with a New York style, with the subway passing just above. It can get a bit rough, so don't be too concerned about the faults, there are a lot, and few are penalized! It's definitely a good alternative to academic basketball to test your street style. The best part: it's open and illuminated at night (just like the Stalingrad court).Voir cette publication sur Instagram

Glacière Basketball Court Under the subway – 13th Arrondissement Open 24/7 and lit up in the evenings
The Sportiest
Twin of the Glacière court, this is the place to be for basketball. It's the most physical playground in the entire capital. Focused on contact and dribbling between the legs, with rules adapting to the whims of the best players, don't risk it if you don't know how to shoot correctly. But for those who want an atmosphere and a game less academic than in clubs, you'll be delighted.
