La Butte Bergeyre: the wildest spot for a sunrise in Paris
To the west of Buttes Chaumont in the 19th arrondissement, this park is hidden just behind the former headquarters of the PCF. Not only does this place give you the genuine feeling of being surrounded by nature, but it is also a great alternative to Buttes Chaumont when it's crowded. This place is perfect for watching a sunrise in Paris with your loved ones in the early morning.

The Belleville Belvedere: the artsy one
This place is iconic for Parisians, or at least for residents of the right bank. Seen in movies, feature films, and many music videos, the place is beautifully adorned with street art by artist Seth, and mosaics created by over 250 young citizens. It is the most modern of spots, and to see the sun hit the columns with its yellow-orange rays during the sunrise in Paris... it's just magical!

La Tour des Buttes Chaumont : the most romantic
Located in the Buttes Chaumont Park, the Belvédère island houese the temple of Sybille at its highest point. The lovely little stone kiosk is perched 30 meters above the lake. It can be reached by a stone bridge or a suspended walkway. The view is breathtaking, with or without sunrise. It is also very difficult to resist the temptation of feeling like a hero (or heroine) from a Brontë novel.

The Seine riverbanks: the most essential
All Parisians know how essential the riverbanks are as soon as the sunny days arrive. For a picnic, for a sunrise or a sunset in Paris, there's nothing like sharing a good bottle with friends, while dangling your feet over the green waters, and waving at tourists on the boats. The riverbanks cross the center of the city, the view is perfect no matter where you are: we do give a special mention to the tip of the Ile Saint Louis, near the Pont Louis Philippe, the Tino Rossi garden, or the Square du Vert Galant on the Ile de la Cité.

The roof of a friendly friend: the luckiest one
Just like friends who have pools, we all have one. You just have to live under a roof, and not have it too slanted to be able to sit on it. It's definitely better to not be facing west (and in the worst case scenario, it will be for watching the sunset) to be able to admire the sunrise. Note well: it's better to choose a friend who has taken ownership of their roof, who knows it well for obvious safety reasons, and especially be very careful where you step!

Terminal 7: the most festive
In a more festive setting, where one wants to end their night beautifully rather than starting their day well, there is Terminal 7. The club closes at 6:00 in the morning. In the summer, the ideal calculation is to finish the evening by going to the club at the Porte de Versailles, in order to contemplate the rising star even before going to bed, while sipping a cocktail. A sunrise in Paris to be savored.
