4. The new open-air ice rink at La Défense
We no longer need to introduce the Christmas market in La Défense and its 250 charming stalls where you can find handcrafted gifts for the whole family. However, this year, it features several new additions, including a massive natural ice rink of 450 m2 at the foot of the Grande Arche. Perfect for having fun after shopping, but try to hold back on the mulled wine a bit!

This is definitely one of the largest and most stylish rinks in the capital. Spread out over 1,500 m2, the Grand Sonja Henie Ice Rink is a playground for experienced skaters who come to practice or chat about anything and everything while spinning with friends. We love it for its size, but even more for its festive atmosphere: bright lights and a pop playlist will accompany your moves and set the rhythm for your spins. It's the perfect place to feel like a pro in the middle of a competition. And good news: the rink stays open until spring!
