Here’s our selection of must-visit icy spots, featuring their vibes, locations, sizes, and everything else you need to know!

1. The monumental ice rink at the Grand Palais

After a phenomenal reopening during the Olympic Games, the Grand Palais is set to bring some winter magic to the capital with the largest indoor ice rink in the world. You got it: after five years of absence, the rink at the Grand Palais is finally reopening its doors to the public. What’s on the agenda? 2700 m2 of ice in a magical setting to fully enjoy the wonderful holiday season.

Yes. A reopening that's set to be festive and musical, as the venue plans exciting night events with lots of DJ sets. Join us on December 13th for a 6th edition of fun !

2. The Ice Rink at the Tuileries Christmas Market

A Parisian Christmas isn't complete without the ice rink at the Tuileries: family-friendly and right in the heart of the City of Light, it's a classic you won't want to miss. There’s a special protected area for the little ones and a larger area for the big skaters. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of Santa's sleigh passing through the sky...

3. The ice rink at Parc Astérix

Specially set up for the holidays, the Gliding Village at the Parc Astérix features, alongside its 5 sliding tracks and its Ice Garden, a large ice rink where you can pick up speed and show off your skills. It is divided into two areas, with a  150 m2 section for children, and another 400 m2 section for older kids. It’s the perfect spot to recover from a thrilling roller coaster ride and enjoy a frosty moment with family in a magical setting.

4. The new open-air ice rink at La Défense

We no longer need to introduce the Christmas market in La Défense and its 250 charming stalls where you can find handcrafted gifts for the whole family. However, this year, it features several new additions, including a massive natural ice rink of 450 m2 at the foot of the Grande Arche. Perfect for having fun after shopping, but try to hold back on the mulled wine a bit!

5. The brand-new ice rink at La Villette

And La Défense isn't the only one getting a makeover: the La Villette neighborhood is launching its very first Christmas Village. The Fontaine-aux-Lions square will host 30 charming chalets with stunning light decorations, as well as several winter activities, including a family-friendly eco-responsible ice rink covering 200 m2, a climbing wall, a ski simulator, a curling track and, of course, its traditional lantern parade. Shall we meet there?

6. The Christmas Market Ice Rink in Vincennes

Not far from Paris, the Parvis of the Vincennes Town Hall is back with its traditional winter ice rink after swapping it for a roller rink last year! This fun activity is part of the "Vincennes in Celebration" event, allowing everyone, regardless of age, to take their first glides on the ice or perfect their skating moves in a delightful icy atmosphere.

7. The Ice Rink at the Accor Arena in Bercy

This is definitely one of the largest and most stylish rinks in the capital. Spread out over 1,500 m2, the Grand Sonja Henie Ice Rink is a playground for experienced skaters who come to practice or chat about anything and everything while spinning with friends. We love it for its size, but even more for its festive atmosphere: bright lights and a pop playlist will accompany your moves and set the rhythm for your spins. It's the perfect place to feel like a pro in the middle of a competition. And good news: the rink stays open until spring!
