1. A NICE ITALIAN RESTAURANT FOR A ROMANTIC DATE
It's simple: we rarely see better when it comes to Italian cuisine (but no pizza, please!). Pasta with truffles to die for, divine risottos and fish, always perfect vegetables, a well-deserved wine list, and a burrata... that's all we're saying. Plus, for the lovers, a pianist in the evening!

2. THE BEST SPOT FOR A QUICK BITE
If you want to immerse yourself in a typical Parisian atmosphere with waiters in berets and overalls bringing you delicious and affordable country-style croque-madame (for the neighborhood), you're in the right place! To complete the classic French/Parisian experience, pair it with a glass of wine (of the day) and enjoy a cigarette on the terrace!

3. THE LOCAL BOOKSTORE
We cannot make a guide of the good addresses in this historically literary neighborhood without mentioning our favorite bookstore, L'Ecume des Pages. As soon as you enter, the wonderful smell of paper is overwhelming, and it continues with the numerous book references you can find while exploring. It's a lovely bookstore that we adore... (big) bonus point: it is open until midnight during the weekdays, because there is no time limit to devour pages.

4. VISITING GEORGES WITH FRIENDS
Don't know Chez Georges? Yet, this bar has been around since 1952! Today, it's Georges' grandchildren that we find behind the bar. All the greatest have passed through this cellar to sing or change the world. In photo or music, Régine and Gainsbourg are still there too. So we go there for prosperity, to have a drink or eat!

5. ENJOY A COCKTAIL IN A SECRET BAR
We reveal one of the best-kept secrets of the Left Bank. Simply named "Le Bar," this address in the heart of Paris is as discreet as it is wonderful. Inside, it's a bit sensual with velvet everywhere, a cocktail menu, very little light, and Asian decor.

BONUS: ENJOYING A COFFEE IN THE SUN
The only terrace on Place Saint-Sulpice deserves its place here. People go there more for a coffee in the sun than for typical Parisian brasserie dishes like croque-monsieur, fried eggs, or various salads in the very '70s style dining room. Yes, the attraction of this café lies more in the actors and other socialites you might run into than what's on your plate. But that's already pretty nice!

You also have the classics, just to taste the 100% Left Bank atmosphere: Sophie recommends going out to MMontana or Castel with the "beautiful people" (as stated on the Montana website), stopping by Flore to feel like a writer and Coffee parisien, because it's the very first in Paris.
