At the Guimet Museum
You probably don't know this museum very well, but don't worry, that's normal; it's not the first museum that comes to mind when we think of Paris. However, it houses one of the most beautiful secret gardens in the capital. Dedicated to the arts of Asia, it has an annex dedicated to Buddha, which features an amazing Japanese garden. So don’t expect anything gigantic; it's a small museum located within the city, but the 400 square meters of this little garden will surely make you want to fly off to the Land of the Rising Sun.

At the Albert-Kahn Museum
Designed by landscape architect Fumiaki Takano, this little Japanese garden is a metaphor for Albert Kahn’s life. Fun fact, Albert Kahn himself planted his own garden at the beginning of the century, but unfortunately, hardly anything remains of it except for a large Himalayan cedar, a weeping beech on the small islet, and two little bridges. The new garden is a much more modern creation, and you’ll be able to see lovely cherry trees, bamboo, pebbles, red wooden bridges, and even koi fish! A guaranteed escape to another world!

At Unesco
Located in the heart of the 7th district, the Unesco headquarters is home to a true oasis of peace: a Japanese garden of 1700 m2 that you can visit during guided tours. Created in 1858 by the sculptor Isamu Noguchi, it beautifully blends Eastern landscape art with contemporary works. Be prepared for a bit of a wait...
