1. The steps of Rue des Barres

Just a stone's throw away from Saint-Paul, the still cobbled Rue des Barres runs alongside the gardens of the Saint-Gervais church. Usually, we would settle down on the large and beautiful terrace of L'Ebouillanté for lunch, but this weekend, we will settle for a falafel to go and devour it on some very romantic steps that will delight lovers of authentic Paris.

2. The Ourcq Canal

The sun and summer are slowly but surely settling into our dear capital. So, to escape the suffocating heat while lounging around, let's head to the edge of the Ourcq Canal. Plus, we can burn off some calories with a little game of pétanque.

In the heart of Le Marais, here is a square where people LOVE to relax. Stop by the fishmonger to get some oysters, sit on a bench, listen to the birds singing, and observe the neighborhood life.

5. Place Émile-Goudeau

The square is typical of the old little village of Montmartre. The name was also given to a guinguette which was located in the same place under the Empire, whose particular attraction was to dance, away from the noise of the city.

On a table under the trees, you can enjoy a delicious meal with friends or family, reminisce about old times or simply soak in the charm of this historic spot. Don't forget to snap a few photos to capture the magic of Place Émile-Goudeau!

6. Place de la Contrescarpe

We take advantage of the Mouffetard neighborhood to relax near the fountain in tranquility. The advantage of this spot is that the neighborhood is full of good things to take away. We especially love the crepes and galettes of Le P'tit Grec. It's a delight.Just a fun little Instagram post to share some joy! 8. Bois de Boulogne

They are there, in the branches of Bagatelle Park or at the foot of the large waterfall in the Bois de Boulogne. Their piercing eyes observing passersby; a gang of 150 cats has taken over the wooded expanse of the 16th arrondissement a few years ago now. A good spot for picnicking and observing them.
