Spring has arrived, bringing with it a burst of blossoms. Of course, when we think of blossoms, we think of the cherry trees of Japan, the sakuras, which grace us with beautiful pink flowers starting in March. So here are plenty of spots to celebrate Hanami in Paris...

1. Parc de Sceaux

To admire the beauty of cherry blossoms while enjoying a host of activities, head to the Parc de Sceaux! Throughout April, visitors will be introduced to the art of Japanese floral design with Ikebana, manga drawing, or origami. They can also enjoy free visits amidst the cherry trees and inside the Château de Sceaux. A true immersion in the land of the Rising Sun!

Address: Domaine départemental de Sceaux, 8 Avenue Claude Perrault, 92330 Sceaux, France

2. The Albert Kahn Garden

At the end of metro line 10, a geological miracle awaits in the gardens of the Albert Kahn Museum. In the early 20th century, this humanitarian banker had the brilliant idea of creating a "world map" garden, which means a sprawling space bringing together natural treasures from all around the globe. To celebrate Hanami properly, we recommend making a stop here: you can admire the cherry trees from Japan alongside Indian lilacs and Afghan lavenders.

Address: 2 Rue du Port, 92100 Boulogne-Billancourt, France

3. The Jean XXIII Square

This lovely square is located behind Notre-Dame Cathedral, perfect for a stroll and a cozy reading spot, away from the hustle and bustle around the cathedral. The cherry trees here create a beautiful canopy of pink blossoms, and between the branches, you can catch a glimpse of the cathedral... it’s truly a sight to behold!
