The most beautiful barges in Paris
Cruising on the Seine and experiencing Paris in a different way, that's the special moment that the barges of the capital offer us. We often see these boats from the quayside, but we rarely embark on them. However, they combine relaxation, food, and often, parties: in short, perfect for the sensation-seeking epicureans that we are!
The most bucolic
El Alamein Boat
The El Alamein boat has discreetly moored at the foot of the BNF for 20 years already. This beautiful Parisian barge is therefore old enough to offer us its lush fauna and its cool, purple music atmosphere. More than just a floating garden, this unique barge is adorned with strawberry and raspberry bushes, olive trees, and marronniers, fig trees, and other plants and flowers that happily coexist with passing poets. We go there to nibble on natural food (hehe) but also on the dishes prepared by the host while listening to the numerous concerts programmed by the passionate team.

The Mackerels
A bar-restaurant situated on a canal boat features on its menu Brittany oysters, whelks, charcuterie from Maison Dubernet, smoked fish from the island of Yeu, creamy burrata served with cocktails, refreshing rosés, and affordable draft beers. Add to that a generous dose of beautiful scenery (with a view of the Île Saint-Louis) and a skillful mix of DJ sets and you'll have a clear idea of what to expect at The Mackerels.
Above all, don't forget their new address on the other side of the bank, just a stone's throw from the Jardin des Plantes: after the aperitif on the canal boat, it's time for a fish feast and swimming pool.ne

The apéro barge The apéro swimming pool Water and dreams If its hold is filled with books and treasures of all kinds, now we can nestle with a good book in its café area and its brand new terrace. Water and Dreams is a specialized bookstore in books about nature and gardens, run by Cyrille Bruneau, a lover of the botanical world. Water and Dreams The Canal Barboteur The Canal Barboteur is a small itinerant boat that brings a tropical breeze to the whole capital. From the Parc de la Villette to Pantin, passing through the Quai de Jemmapes, the barge docks for a day to set up its unique terrace with deck chairs, tables, and wooden games. We drink and enjoy the sun while sitting in our deck chair, with friends or family, all while listening to music that quickly turns into a big party along the canal. On board the boat, artists give concerts and otherDJ sets until nightfall, while the dock transforms into a dancefloor and the party is guaranteed. Attention, this barge in Paris moves between the Bassin de la Villette, Pantin and the Quai de Jemmapes, remember to check their Facebook page before you go. Canal Barboteur The Antipode Since 2002, the Antipode barge has been sailing on the Villette basin. At the helm is the Abricadabra company, which offers shows and concerts on board, as well as its café-restaurant, giving the canal an Amsterdam-like atmosphere. Most of the products are fresh and organic, sourced from fair trade or small producers: here you won't find Coca-Cola, for example, but Breizh Cola, the Breton version of Coca-Cola. Otherwise, they have a wide range of craft beers that change regularly. We highly recommend trying the hibiscus white beer. Peniche Antipode La Bougeotte Have you ever seen... a mobile wine cellar/bar? Now you have, with La Bougeotte: make a stop and enjoy regional products, shows, concerts, exhibitions, and sunsets on the water. One of the best places to sample oysters or delight in seafood on Sundays during the brunch iodé. Parisian barge tested and approved a hundred times. Péniche la Bougeotte Mademoiselle Mouche Chill/party ? Chill/party ? Chill/party ? Your crew can't decide ? Choose both, sailors, and set sail for Mademoiselle Mouche, a dancing barge in Paris where you can watch the sunset over the Seine River (with a bonus view of the Eiffel Tower) while enjoying a cocktail. Leave the haters behind, this is your moment to savor with a DJ set until 2am. Mademoiselle Mouche Polpo Beach Food & drink cabins, large wooden tables, parasols, sun loungers... Polpo Beach is the perfect spot to feel like you're on vacation without leaving Paris. The ultimate treat? Indulging in a Lobster Roll with guacamole, lime, and spices, enjoying a ceviche or a grilled fish, all while sipping on a Spritz with your feet in the sand. Stay until late in the evening to watch the sunset and see all the little Polpo lights illuminate. Polpo Plage
