The One We No Longer Need to Introduce: Hasard Ludique

It's hard to start this article any other way. Hasard Ludique embodies the essence of the Petite Ceinture. Once a train station, it transformed into an independent cinema, then Darty, and then a discount bazaar: this place has seen and experienced it all before becoming the cool spot we know today.

This hybrid venue is at the heart of the neighborhood life of the Porte de Saint-Ouen. Hasard Ludique now hosts workshops, talking groups, concerts, screenings, and more. You can drop by to have a drink in its amazing outdoor space on the old tracks or stop by for a bite at Léon's Cantine. The menu: friendly bistronomy and tapas. Perfect to pair with their selection of organic wines and local beers!

Poinçon for its cuisine

After being abandoned for 74 years, the Montrouge train station has transformed into a vibrant hub of neighborhood life in the 14th. Its name comes from the tool used to punch tickets at train stations. And no, Serge Gainsbourg unfortunately didn't invent anything with Le poinçonneur des Lilas...

Today, there are plenty of reasons to step through the doors of Poinçon: work, eat, dance, debate… With its 250 m² and a large terrace, this place hosts concerts, parties, stand-up comedy, literary cafés, and loads of other cultural events. But to be honest, our true favorite...the heart is in the kitchen: healthy with fresh and seasonal products. For a meal, a brunch, a quick stop at the cocktail bar, or in the wine cellar, we will always have something to delight you.

Way 15 to work

For those of you who are more serious, in the old Vaugirard station, there is a beautiful space of coworking. With 340 m², over 60 available spots and 5 different areas, say goodbye to wasted hours looking for a spot at the library or those ruined notes because of coffee spilled on that tiny bistro table.

With bookable meeting rooms, the option to privatize the venue, on-site dining, and a gorgeous terrace, it’s going to be tough heading back to the office after this!

The Brasserie Auteuil, for its vibe

If we say ham, spritz, rooftop, you’ll probably think of happiness, but we say Auteuil station. On the western part of the Petite Ceinture, there’s a restaurant inspired by Italy. Here, you can play billiards, enjoy ice cream, soak up the sun, or have dinner late into the night in a colorful and retro setting. It’s a dream! But that's not all, right in the heart of the 16th, the prices are quite reasonable, with dishes ranging from €14.5 to €25. What are you waiting for, seriously?

Andia and Casa Luisa, for a getaway

In the former Passy-la-Muette train station, right across from the Ranelagh Garden, you’ll find not one but two delightful spots.

On the ground floor, there’s a charming and friendly tapas bar. Whether for lunch, dinner, or simply a drink, this place has expertly managed to keep its authentic vibe while bringing Spain to the west side of Paris. Balancing tradition and modernity, you can enjoy Catalan cuisine with a refreshing cocktail on the stunning terrace accompanied by some bossa nova tunes in the background.

Upstairs, a whole new world awaits us. It's like a journey to...

Peru, Andia takes you on a journey through the streets of Lima with a 5-senses experience. An explosion of color, music, spicy aromas, and the sound of shakers blend together in a lush patio. A magical experience in the heart of Paris.

The Recyclerie, for its values

Yes, the Recyclerie was also a station on the Petite Ceinture: the Ornano station. Of course, it makes sense when you know that the very principle of the Recyclerie is to raising awareness among the public about eco-responsible values, especially through object recycling. In short, the Recyclerie is a place filled with collaborative initiatives that encourages ecological awareness in a fun and positive way.

On-site, you'll find an urban farm, a repair workshop, a beehive on the roof, a few chickens wandering about, a participatory library, and of course, a responsible café-canteen. The menu, seasonal and 100% homemade, contributes to the green ecosystem of the place while giving you a chance to take a break away from the Parisian pavement. By joining the Recyclerie, you can enjoy all these services without that little voice in your head screaming that you're contributing to the extinction of the human race. Pretty cool, right?

This former 19th-century train hall has now become a cultural third space in all its forms. The motto of the TLM is "upcycle". La Gare jazz, for its concerts

After being left behind like the rest of the Petite Ceinture, the Pont de Flandre station quickly became a artist squat before being renovated between 2014 and 2017. Since then, the station's ground floor offers free jazz concerts based on the voluntary participation of those present. Amid the murals on the walls of the building and its huge gardens and terraces, you can enjoy a drink in a cozy, eclectic atmosphere.

For the more adventurous, you can even continue your evening downstairs at “Le Gore.” There, you’ll find wild techno parties under beautiful archways.

Urban agriculture with La Ferme du Rail and the Level Crossing

Just a stone's throw from the Villette Basin, there’s a fantastic place that blends urban agriculture and solidarity. La Ferme du Rail revolves around a large vegetable garden. Next to it, you'll find a fish pond and a filtration pond fed by rainwater. This collected water waters the vegetables in the garden, those in the greenhouse, the fruit trees, the herbs, and the mushroom farm. To take care of all this, 20 people are involved!

At the end of 2026, 4 new kilometers will be opened on the Petite Ceinture, allowing for the development of new projects. We can’t wait! For example, the project “Réalimenter Masséna” aims to renovate the station in the 13th arrondissement to create a hub for sustainable food research. Meanwhile, the “Passerelle A” project seeks to transform the old Avron station into a cultural and artistic expression space complete with a ginguette and dining area.
