Take some rice, marinated meat, small vegetables, condiments, an egg, and a more or less spicy sauce according to taste; all served in a heated cast iron pot. This gives you bibimbap: it's simple, healthy, and a true explosion of flavors. I recently discovered that I love it, so a top is necessary. Restaurant Bibimbap: As the name suggests, you come here to taste one of the favorite Korean dishes! Everything is fresh, each table has its own private bell (yes, like in a hotel), and the atmosphere is very pleasant. We enjoy a small pot where sliced zucchini, shredded carrots, soybean sprouts, spinach, mushrooms, and egg rest on a bed of rice. And for variety, there is also Ssambap, the traditional Korean barbecue, fried dumplings, and even little financier cakes.Hello there, Yumi!

2, boulevard de l'Hôpital - 5th

Bulgogi

Nestled in a small street near Belleville metro station, amidst Chinese restaurants, Bulgogi is a little cafeteria that doesn't look like much. Delicious food made by an authentic Korean mom using fresh ingredients. I even hear whispers that they have the best kimchi in the capital... If there's still room, we can't resist the sugar-filled crepe and red bean ice cream.

12, rue Louis Bonnet - 20th arrondissement

Shin Jung

The "dolsot" bibimbap is cooked in a stone pot. It's a dish that combines rice, vegetables, meat, and red pepper paste (gochujang). A wide range of meat options: soy sauce marinated beef, spicy sauce pork, fried tofu, spicy squid, chicken, salmon, or tuna.

7, rue Clapeyron - 8th

Jantchi

Jantchi offers five versions of this dish: vegetarian, classic beef, spicy pork, chicken, and seafood. The prices are very affordable because for €12, you can enjoy the bibimbap of your choice, with a choice of appetizer and banchan (assortment of condiments and vegetables: beans, kimchi, and soybean sprouts).

6, rue Thérèse - 8th

Jules and Shim

Jules and Shim is a little Korean canteen that is very successful in the 10th arrondissement. Jules and Shim are specialists in bibimbap (steamed rice and fresh vegetables cooked with sesame, vegetarian or with beef bulgogi, spicy pork or shrimp Thai-style). It is served with traditional Korean dishes (kimchi cabbage, pajeon, kimbap...). But what we love the most is being able to take our order in beautiful origami boxes, the house's special touch!

22, rue des Vinaigriers - 10e

Midam

This little spot is being overrun by Koreans themselves, who come here to savor the flavors of their country. The two available options are priced at 10.50€ and 12.50€. After some bibimbap as an appetizer, you can enjoy highly spicy dishes served on very hot stone plates (watch your fingers). A great typical address.
