Where to eat a good Pho in Paris ?

Head to Hanoi without leaving Paris with the best Pho in the capital! Besides its friendly price, this delicious noodle soup is known for its anti-inflammatory properties and its ability to boost our immunity. What more could we ask for? Let’s take a little tour of our favorite spots to enjoy it, summer or winter !

The editorial team's favorite: Ha Noi 1988

Ha Noi 1988 undoubtedly stands out as one of the best Pho in the capital. Awarded a gold medal in its home country for its incredible, savory, and addictive Garlicky Pho, this former photographer turned professional cook has settled in Paris. On the menu, you’ll find secret recipes that are both traditional and original - inherited from his grandmother - which are nothing like what you’d find in other Vietnamese restaurants in the capital. Forget about bouillon cubes and added glutamates; here, the broths are prepared and cherished for 24 hours!

in advance. Since we got a taste of it, we can’t stop dreaming about one thing: going back.

In all intimacy: Do and Rice

Served on authentic Asian soup plates, we savor... ```ste le Phô with its nose as soon as it arrives on the table. There's a captivating and comforting aroma that instantly makes us forget the icy weather. We indulge in its delicate and lemony broth... Hanging lights, a reclaimed ceiling, and exposed stones create a cozy atmosphere that you never want to leave.

Le Phô sûr : We Cantine

We were already FANS of their beef stir-fry Bobun, but since winter has arrived, we regularly seek refuge in their comforting Phô. A surefire favorite that we love to have delivered for a cozy TV dinner.

For the enthusiasts: Just like in Vietnam

With the plethora of Vietnamese spots in the 13th, it’s hard to know which canteen to choose. We’ve tried quite a few for you and we have to admit, the title of best Pho in the neighborhood goes to the restaurant Just like in Vietnam; a gem that delights our taste buds every time we stop by for lunch. Go there with your eyes closed!

The melody of Heng has echoed in the neighborhood for years. This cozy little spot is one of our favorite Parisian gems. On the menu, you can "choose" between a Phô or ... a Bo-bun, which means the selection is limited, but oh, the quality! A one-way ticket to Vietnam guaranteed...

Our favorite vegetarian Vietnamese spot: Tien Hiang

Not a fan of meat every lunchtime? How about a vegetarian Phở? Here’s a place that has never disappointed us, where we can find a delightful array of deliciously reimagined Asian specialties. We especially love their "NoBoeuf" Phở soup, with tofu, rice noodles, soka sprouts, mint, and Thai basil. This canteen is one we find hard to live without.

A pocket-sized eatery where you can indulge in a rich, ultra-authentic, and flavorful broth. In addition to the classic Phô, the chef lets their creativity shine by offering us, every day, a surprising and reimagined Phô soup like the one with crab and tofu or chicken with bamboo.
