Daroco

Daroco, the chic trattoria in the Bourse district – located in the historic former boutique of designer Jean Paul Gaultier – celebrates the festival of love in grand style. Prosecco on arrival, and then we dive into a menu that highlights the delights of Italy. Carciofi alla Giudia, scallop carpaccio, linguine with lemon butter and caviar, Rossini beef fillet, pumpkin risotto with chanterelles, and for dessert, a creamy pistachio tiramisu. In short, Italian romance will be in the air, from antipasti to dolci!

And for those with a sweet tooth: don’t miss the deceptively realistic candied apple by Cédric Grolet, available for pick-up on February 14th!

The Winter Bubble

Ah, Valentine's Day. There are those who love it lively, festive, and full of cheer, and then there are the others, who just want one thing (besides their sweetheart): to disconnect from the world and live tucked away in a bubble of love. If you feel this way, we know the perfect place to make your wish come true: the Winter Bubble, a true cocoon glassed set up every year in the inner courtyard of the Novotel Paris Les Halles Hotel. While you usually enjoy Savoyard fondue here as if you're in the mountains, for the lovers' celebration, the establishment adds a special (and surprise!) menu in three courses. In this heated space, adorned with a fireplace and beautiful illuminated Christmas trees, you forget the time, celebrating love, for yourself, for others, and gastronomy; if this makes...It has an essence, and maybe it’s this one. All you have to do now is make a reservation: be careful, spots are (very) limited!

This February 14th, there’s no need to reach for the seventh heaven; the rooftop of the TOO Hotel will do just perfectly! Perched at a height of 127 meters, atop the Duo tower, this place proudly holds the title of the highest rooftop in the capital, and it has the magical ability to completely transport its guests away from the outside world. Sitting face-to-face with the vastness of Paris alongside your special someone, you can sip on a cocktail – special mention to the Too Fly (Vodka, Italicus, lime, aloe vera, pink grapefruit syrup) – while taking in a breathtaking panorama. Of course, the Eiffel Tower is the star of the show, but you can also spot the Panthéon, the Invalides, and even the Sacré-Cœur thanks to their nighttime illuminations. And to satisfy your cravings, a special Valentine’s menu with Asian flavors promises a true gastronomic experience. Our suggestions...

(tested and approved) : the salmon tataki as a starter, followed by the grilled octopus served with butternut and spicy sriracha as the main dish, before giving in to the seasonal cheesecake crafted by Benoît Castel
