Plan D

In this little spot by the canal Saint-Martin, you'll find 100% plant-based sandwiches, but that's not all they offer! The fillings, colors, seasonality, and quality of the products… everything is designed to celebrate vegetables. In a super cool setting, Plan D shows that vegan does not at all mean austere, quite the opposite !

Near Notre-Dame, tucked away in a cobblestone alley, lies one of the best sandwich spots on the Left Bank. Perfectly toasted homemade bread, carefully crafted fillings, and a laid-back canteen vibe: you guessed it, it’s the fabulous Chanceux! These generous and unique sandwiches are the perfect reason to take a stroll to the nearby Jardin des plantes.

Not far from the Buttes-Chaumont, Vandal is one of the best-kept secrets of the 19th arrondissement. The sandwiches are simply delicious. Few recipes, but all perfectly balanced, and we can assure you’ll have a treat during your stroll! The only downside is that it’s only open for lunch on weekdays…

Heart of Lebanon

Attention all shawarma lovers: nestled between the canal and République, this family-run Lebanese spot is buzzing with excitement and is still a bit under the radar. While the zaatar chicken shawarma is a must-try, we also highly recommend the falafels and cold mezzes – they’re absolutely worth the visit! It’s the perfect snack to enjoy at the Jardin Villemin.

Shwi

Right across from The Heart of Lebanon (the 10th is a real treasure!), Shwi offers a more contemporary take on Lebanese shawarma. The decor is lovely, the chicken is grilled right in front of you, and the playlist is great. Some people complain about the never-ending line, but we might just have to admit that this restaurant is a victim of its own success!

Sandwichette

Mathilde and Mathias opened this tiny counter in the 11th with a simple idea: to create creative sandwiches with quality ingredients, all in an extravagant and enchanting atmosphere! The grilled cheese with Burgundy beef, the crispy kimchi cheddar, or the BLT with homemade mayo—everything is made with care and genuine generosity. You'll have to exercise some self-control not to devour everything before you step foot in the Père Lachaise cemetery.

It’s the perfect spot for a brunch and/or picnic on the Père-Lachaise lawns.
