The + mixologist: Nectar at Maison Mère

Here’s the perfect spot for food lovers on a quest for flavors ! Both a cocktail bar and a restaurant, Nectar offers a sensory experience that lets you explore the amazing aromas of the cocktails on the menu, helping you pick the one that suits you best. Next, you’ll discover the creative cuisine of chef Aurélien Lasjuilliarias through plates to share, all delicious and delightful. Don’t miss the scallops seared in bergamot-infused butter and the little tartlets filled with...peas, bean sprouts, green onions, and sprinkled with bay leaf. For dessert, we loved the chocolate-parsnip tartlet, tonka bean caramel, and its umami-flavored miso ice cream that is super  addictive. Does that make your mouth water ? Head over to  just a stone's throw from the square Montholon, in the 9th.

The tastiest: Babi

Last August, right in the heart of Paris, Jérémy and Néo launched Babi. Since then, these two friends have been treating us every evening to original, seasonal sharing plates, the kind that leaves an unforgettable memory. In an intimate setting, whether at a table or at the counter for a unique view of the kitchen, you can savor the vegetables, fish, and meats elevated by masterful cooking and seasoning.

is at your fingertips. A (very) special mention goes to the pepper butter, served with a fried pita, and to the Asian-flavored eggplant skewer. All of this is complemented by a delightful bottle of wine from the  selection of worldwide favorites, the key to a truly successful evening.

The + Japanese: OTTO

It’s the new restaurant by Éric Trochon, a Michelin-starred chef and Meilleur Ouvrier de France: OTTO has opened its doors on Rue Mouffetard, offering an experience that transports you away. On the menu, there are absolutely amazing shared plates and a selection of natural wines that should delight budding wine lovers, all in a decor reminiscent of Izakaya, the Japanese sake bars. Make sure you don’t miss the celery root and hazelnut doughnuts, paired with a creamy fresh cheese and lemon dip, they’re so melt-in-your-mouth delicious you’ll wish for three plates. Also, a love at first taste for the semi-cooked tuna with a super intense soy and garlic sauce, or the caramel rice pudding with roasted hazelnuts for dessert. Simple, no frills, well executed – we totally approve.

The Latino twist: Bomba

The founder of Yaai Thai and the Mamie breweries opens his sixth venue at 35 bd de Bonne Nouvelle, featuring a tropical and immersive atmosphere. A real invitation to travel with its somewhat Amazonian decor, the recipes bursting with Latin flavors are just as enticing. On the menu: sea bass ceviche, Argentine ribeye steak, and revamped empanadas. It's a delightful selection of traditional, bistronomic, and seasonal dishes for a captivating culinary journey. As for drinks, a mixologist offers a wide range of signature cocktails made from local spirits, like Mezcal and Pisco.

The most bistronomic : Le Grand Bain

The delicacy from our bistronomy Englishman has struck again! Edward Delling-Williams (from Le Passage) has teamed up with Edouard Lax and Alexandre Janssens (interior architect on the project) to turn this neo bistro into a little gem for food lovers in the area. Oh, the food here is sooo good! We’re in love with the razor clams and the scallops.
