The + mixologist: Nectar at Maison Mère

Here is the ideal table for epicureans in search of flavors!  Both a cocktail bar and a restaurant, Nectar first offers you a sensory experience that allows you to discover the flavors of the cocktails offered on the menu and choose the one that suits you best. Then, you will discover the creative cuisine of Chef Aurélien Lasjuilliarias through plates that are meant to be shared and are each more delicious than the others. We especially recommend the seared scallops infused with bergamot butter and the bite-sized tartlets.Peas, small beans, new onions and powdered laurel. As for dessert, we loved the chocolate-parsnip tartlet, tonka caramel and miso ice cream with hyper addictive umami flavor. Does it make your mouth water? Meet us just a stone's throw away from Square Montholon, in the 9th district.

The Japanese +: OTTO

This is the new restaurant by Éric Trochon, Michelin-starred chef and Best Craftsman of France: OTTO has opened its doors on Mouffetard street and offers an exotic experience. On the menu, absolutely mind-blowing sharing plates and a selection of natural wines that should please aspiring oenologists, all in a decor inspired by Izakaya, the Japanese sake bars. Don't miss out on the celeriac and hazelnut fritters, served with...A cream with fresh cheese and lemon, so smooth that you would've wanted 3 plates of it. We also fell in love with the half-cooked tuna and its powerful soy sauce and garlic, or the caramel rice pudding with toasted hazelnuts for dessert. Frank, without any frills, well-executed, we approve.

The + Latin: Bomba

The founder of Yaai Thai and Mamie breweries opens his sixth location at 35 bd de Bonne nouvelle in a tropical and immersive atmosphere. A true invitation to travel through the somewhat Amazonian decor, the recipes with Latin accents are just as inviting. On the menu: sea bream ceviche, Argentinian rib steak, and reimagined empanadas. A variety of traditional, bistro-style, and seasonal dishes for an enchanting culinary journey. As for drinks, a mixologist offers a wide selection of signature cocktails made with local sourced alcohols such as Mezcal or Pisco.

The + bistro-style

Le Grand Bain

The delicacy of our Englishman from the bistronomy scene has struck again! Edward Delling-Williams (from Le Passage) has joined forces with Edouard Lax and Alexandre Janssens (interior architects on the project) to create a little gem of a neo-bistro for the foodies in the neighborhood. The food here is absolutely delicious! We are particularly fond of the knives and the scallops.

The most festive: La Mangerie

At La Mangerie, you are welcomed with a small homemade rum shot; that immediately sets the tone. A little buzz, twinkling lights adorning the giant olive tree, lovely wooden tables, trattoria ambiance, a haven for bon vivants. The idea of the place? To indulge in good company. Good vibes guaranteed!

A cozy little place where the hipsters of the neighborhood gather to indulge and share amazing small dishes. We love everything, always, all the time. Thank you Frenchie !

The + chic : Le Mary Celeste

Following in the footsteps of its sister Candelaria and its brother Glass, this neighborhood gem carries at the heart of its identity the same art of hospitality and a relaxed atmosphere. In this trendy bistro, you can sit along the grand counter, nibble on small portions, and enjoy elbow-to-elbow the amazingly paired wine and excellent cocktails.

The largest terrace: Edgar

As soon as you arrive, you'll be charmed by this neighborhood hotel-restaurant with a large terrace overlooking a beautiful square. Here, there is no noise, which is quite pleasant when you're in the center of Paris. The service is young and relaxed, and the menu is colorful and seafood-based. The grilled knives are to die for!

The Most Romantic: La traversée

A cozy atmosphere, a warm welcome, and exquisite cuisine, what more could you ask for when you're passionate, a food lover and enjoy the good life? Nothing! We can't resist their Thai beef tartare with condiments and their excellent wine (L'Anathème Languedoc 2016 Organic)!
