The Editor

Back to school, it bores everyone; going back to work, the tan that fades, the end of rosé aperitifs on the beach, autumn approaching in the distance, the sun setting earlier, basically, it's a bummer... So what do we do? We turn to restaurants to drown our sorrows in calories and extra pounds. And luckily for us, the new end-of-summer tables brighten up our return!

Homer Lobster

Once again, lobster is on the menu here! Moïse Sfez, founder of Homer Lobster, announces the opening of his second restaurant in early September. And it's in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés that the lobster rolls will delight our taste buds. This authentic crustacean sandwich, like the ones found in New England, comes in two versions. Blue and fresh lobster, precise seasoning, generous artisanal brioche specially crafted for the establishment, it makes our mouths water already! The Saint-Germain counter will offer its 4 emblematic recipes, as well as its new compositions and a surprise recipe every week. The week according to Moïse's inspirations. And above all, the new address will be immersed in a street decoration, benefiting from 22 seated places.

This new address, headed by renowned fashion designer Jean-Paul Gaultier, will feature a generous Italian cuisine that embodies the spirit of sharing. It will be a modern, festive, trendy, and accessible trattoria that offers a wider but still classic menu, ranging from antipasti to dolce, with pasta and pizza taking center stage. We are already excited about the new additions such as risotto, arancini, and mozzarella fritters! And let's not forget the 430 m2 space adorned with a grand mirrored ceiling and a stunning fresco by Supakitch and Koralie...

And at Magnà, getting your hands dirty while enjoying a mouthful of pizza is the norm! We're eagerly looking forward to discovering this new spot and indulging in the famous gourmet portafoglio and the incredibly delicious rotolos, both made with quality ingredients. Good news, unlike its big sister, this second location has 25 seating spaces!

The grand café of Athens

Here's a true bistro just like in Athens! This Greek tavern opened this summer in the 10th arrondissement and is already making people happy, with promises to continue the trend into the fall. The Filakia duo is opening their first Mediterranean bistro in a unique atmosphere with relaxation, sharing dishes, frappé coffee, and an ambiance straight out of Athens! The codes of Greek street food get a gourmet touch that makes all the difference. A typical Greek way of life in a place where it's good to live, mixed with a cuisine that exudes the sun's flavors. Homemade lemonade, souvlaki, mezzes, golden pita, Kalamata olives, baked feta, tender octopus, carpaccio-style filet mignon, and of course, a selection of Greek wines. In short, we fully endorse this finger-licking cuisine! Plus, we're fans of the colorful Greek ceramic tableware. Here, it smells like vacation, and it's great because we didn't want to come back!
