The Best of Street Food in Paris
While street food is primarily intended to be eaten quickly, on the go, with your hands, it has now become a true way of life in the culinary world. Often nostalgic, modern, and most importantly, universal, street food has taken over the streets of the biggest cities around the globe for many decades. So why hold back? Whether you crave a cheesy hot sandwich, take-out pizza, or Vietnamese cuisine to enjoy on the go, you'll definitely find the perfect street food spot in Paris. Here are our favorites.
The Best Original Dwich: Curb
A delightful smell of street food wafts over from rue de Clignancourt. A street food aroma, yes, but vegetarian, please! Curb, the new gourmet spot in the 18th, satisfies the neighborhood with...
Sandwiches and bowls with cheeky seasonal flavors, and above all, 100% veggie. What's on the menu? A Magic Mushroom Melt with roasted mushrooms and caramelized onions; an Eggcellent that perfectly blends scrambled eggs and cheddar; and a Going Back to Cauli with chili crisp hummus and za'atar fried cauliflower. Plus, their brand-new winter delight: the Tout Schuss featuring a potato cake and spring onions, raclette cheese, mushroom parsley sauce, pickled cucumber, and caramelized nuts... pure comfort to savor! Everything is freshly prepared and assembled in a delicious fresh bread from the morning and can be served in a bowl (at the same price, because we’re nice like that). We pair it all with smashed potatoes topped with gooey cheddar and a homemade drink, and that's it: we'll definitely be back!Voir cette publication sur Instagram

The best shawarma: Qasti Shawarma & Grill
Here, we don’t just come for a “kebab,” but for a true Lebanese shawarma. Created by the Michelin-starred Lebanese chef Alan Geeam, it’s a genuine journey to Beirut. The meat is well-sourced and bursting with flavor as it’s marinated for a long time in spices before being roasted on the spit, and the bread is filled with homemade toum, a Lebanese garlic sauce, pickles, and a crisp iceberg salad. All of this is served with delicious sweet potato fries. A real delight!

The best banh mi: Miss Banh Mi
When two friends decide to open a banh mi spot in Montorgueil, it turns into a vibrant and exotic address we love, but most importantly, they serve super tasty Vietnamese sandwiches: crispy baguette, farm chicken with candied lemon or eggplant (among others), super fresh veggies... We enjoy our banh mi with a beer from Paris and a delicious chocolate cookie. A Franco-Vietnamese menu that feels great!
