The Editor

The beautiful days are back, making us crave vacations, beaches, the sea, and the delights it has to offer. Luckily in Paris, there are plenty of spots to enjoy delicious seafood. We’re here to guide you!

Pedra Alta

An essential spot for seafood and fish lovers. You can savor fresh, quality products in astronomical quantities, which even lets you take home a little doggy bag! The prices are very reasonable : definitely worth trying at least once.

Clamato

Clamato is primarily an oyster bar (with oysters from Quiberon), but you can also enjoy all kinds of seafood: crabs, Galician sea urchins, Roscoff clams, and Dieppe whelks! A fantastic selection awaits anyone looking at this menu that's as clear as crystal, a must-try!

Address: 80 Rue de Charonne, 75011 Paris, France

Le P’tit Mousse

A charming and cozy little restaurant, perfect for a romantic meal, that serves delicious oysters (opened right in front of the customers) accompanied by some very good white wine, all in the heart of the Marais! The team is lovely and efficient. It's just perfect for a lunch break after a Sunday stroll in the center.

Address: 9 Rue Rambuteau, 75004 Paris, France

Huguette

Huguette apparently rhymes with really good products: Basque sardines, tiny smelts, razor clams, and of course, caviar! The dishes are, of course, delicious and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere is very pleasant and lively, right in the heart of Saint Germain des Prés. A really nice place to try out!

Address: 81 Rue de Seine, 75006 Paris, France

Le Dôme

Le Dôme is a gem that's often overlooked, especially when it comes to seafood. The cuisine is refined and carefully crafted. This spot brings together a fish market and a restaurant, allowing you to enjoy fresh catches straight from the sea, just like home! The tandoori monkfish is delightful, and the bouillabaisse is known to be the best in France. A place worth honoring because it truly deserves it!

Address: 108 Blvd du Montparnasse, 75014 Paris, France

The Children of the Market

The Marché des Enfants Rouges, also known as the oldest market in Paris, is one of the most delightful as well! While stalls used to close after happy hour, some of them are now open all evening! One of our absolute favorites is The Children of the Market , where every visit treats us to semi-gastronomic plates of seafood; from grilled octopus to garlic and white wine clams, and blue lobster from Brittany with sea beans, everything is incredibly delicious and expertly prepared. It's a bit of a splurge but totally worth trying at least once in your life, we promise!

Address: 39 Rue de Bretagne, 75003 Paris, France

The Mackerels

Open 7 days a week, this seafood bar will bring a splash of joy to our Parisian summer as it does every year. Onboard a barge docked at the Hôtel de Ville quay at the foot of the Marie Bridge, you can sip on a cocktail while savoring oysters, whelks, and other seafood delights! In this 200 m2 terrace, with a Cap Ferret vibe, you can relax to the gentle lapping of the water. And for the sailors, there’s an invitation to enjoy a drink on the little boats that take you for a mini-cruise on the Seine. Yallah!

Address: 14 Quai de l'Hôtel de ville, 75004 Paris, France
Address: 36 Quai d'Austerlitz, 75013 Paris, France

Juste

A gentle salty breeze wafts through the 9th, all thanks to Juste! In this charming little house with maritime vibes, you can order delicious seafood straight from Brittany at the counter. Indulge in the juicy oysters, savor a lobster (fresh out of the tank in the restaurant), and enjoy peeling shellfish and other seafood delights. Every dish is paired with homemade recipes crafted by the chef. Pair it all with a high-quality white wine, and all of this comes at a very fair price!

Bulot Bulot

Bulot bulot is the seafood counter of Etienne Ryckeboer, located on Rue des Martyrs. The menu features bulots, as well as fresh and premium oysters, fish rillettes, crab, smoked fish platters, gray and pink shrimp, clams, and tarama... Not to mention the stunning lobsters that will garnish amazing lobster rolls. Enjoy seafood dine-in or to-go.
