To eat french

1. Veget'Halles Flavors

This restaurant, established for many years in Châtelet, would benefit from being better known because, while the decor is not the most welcoming, the menu is sumptuous. Like this little vegetal chicken made from soy protein accompanied by shallot sauce, these shrimp skewers or this seitan escalope. The standout? This steaming pot of eggplant with coconut milk and basil and soy protein, absolutely amazing.

41, rue des Bourdonnais – 1er
From Monday to Saturday from 12pm to 3pm and from 7pm to 11pm

2. Véro l'autre cantine

This is the story of a lunch canteen, right in the heart of the 11th arrondissement, where one simply feels good. On the menu board, homemade lasagna with good quality ingredients, a steaming soup, and small rolls to whet your appetite, dunked in a little peanut sauce, but above all, a daily special that never disappoints for less than fifteen euros. Go there with your eyes closed, you'll thank us later.

30, rue Popincourt – 11th arrondissement

3. 42 degrees

In the kitchens of this raw and vegan restaurant in the capital, nothing goes above 42 degrees. Once this magical number is reached, the food begins to cook and lose its nutritional value: this is the very concept of raw food and the restaurant – preserving all the benefits of the earth's produce while cooking them in a way that creates beautiful and tasty dishes. Like this burger, with a bun made of marinated and dehydrated portobello mushrooms topped with sesame seeds. The processes of dehydration or very low and slow cooking allow us to do whatever we want with the food, and the game often involves presenting popular dishes made with organic and raw ingredients: sushi, pizza, burgers... It's fun, healthy, and delicious.

109, rue du Faubourg-Poissonnière – 9e

4. Primeur

This small canteen in Belleville delights residents and curious passers-by. In the tiny Lemon street, Primeur offers a delicious shepherd's pie and a burger that has saved many of our hangovers over the years. Particularly fresh, its small light bread, vegetable steak, hashbrowns and mayo help absorb just the right amount. Trying it is adopting it.

Rue Lemon – 20th

5. Theory Vegan Food

If you're hungry, very hungry, and you want some heavy street food that will fill you up and leave you rolling like a giant schoolyard ball, then forget everything you know and head straight to Theory. Firstly, because it's impossible to be disappointed no matter which recipe you choose, and secondly, because you'll leave feeling stuffed as a turkey. You get the idea. On the menu here are delicious burgers in their two locations in Paris and Levallois (my personal favorite is the Spicy Cajun with its crispy soy patty), but they also offer healthier options like bowls - don't miss the Roasted Power Bowl with its roasted soy crumbles marinated in tamari.

11, boulevard des Filles-du-Calvaire – 3e
32, rue Louise-Michel – Levallois-Perret

6. Mopa

Mopa is one of those addresses that brings joy. Located in the heart of the Sentier neighborhood, this fully vegetarian fast food place offers some burger recipes that should not be missed. However, it is with the Berliner kebab that we have fallen in love: pita bread, grilled vegetarian strips, sautéed vegetables, marinated raw vegetables, and white sauce. We devour it with fries and a brookie for dessert, and we delight ourselves. But be warned, it is (very) naughty.

17, rue du Croissant - 2nd

7. Green Farmers

One of the newest additions to the capital has stolen our hearts. Just a stone's throw away from Place Pigalle, this 100% vegan fast food joint offers incredibly indulgent smash burgers. We could talk about them for hours, but we'll simply recommend trying their Smash Truffe, whose truffle sauce still haunts our nights. You'll thank us later.

49, bd de Clichy – 9th

8. Season Square

Originally a super cool vegan recipe blog run by two friends, the concept has turned into a restaurant opened in 2016 thanks to crowdfunding on Ulule. Large wooden tables in a green and bright atmosphere, grilled vegetable steak burgers or jackfruit burgers... If you venture into the 13th arrondissement, you know where to eat!

3, rue Louise-Weiss – 13th
From Tuesday to Friday from 12pm to 2:30pm
Saturday from 12pm to 3:30pm and from 7pm to 10pm

9. Hank

This is one of the most iconic places. Hank was the first to offer a burger that is both vegan and delicious, and the quality has remained unchanged ever since. Here, you can choose to try the famous Beyond Meat steak, but we advise you to stick to the base: the homemade tofu, mushroom, rice, grain, and spice steak, a delight. It's true street food, served on a tray, to be ordered at the counter and accompanied by vegan fries and mayo and, if you have room, a heavenly carrot cake. The cheese melts in your hands, the pickles enhance your palate, and the bun melts in your mouth.

55, rue des Archives - 3rd
8, rue de Rochechouart - 9th

10. Furahaa

Former fan of M*do, the best fast-food in the capital offers a revisit of traditional fast-food recipes in an ethical, vegan, and equally satisfying way for the palate. No, really. Moreover, Furahaa is also highly inclusive and works towards the integration of deaf people. You're going to love it. Watch out, food porn!

78, rue Réaumur – 2e

11. Les Tontons Veg

Let me tell you straight up: you are not ready for what awaits you. Because everything, absolutely everything at Les Tontons Veg, shows an exceptional taste and each burger is more enticing than the other. We remember the excellent Arlette burger which owes its name to Vincent's grandmother and has the flavors of our childhood in the South, or the Weon, inspired by South America, with its peanut sauce, caramelized onions, fried plantains, fresh fauxmage, and seitan steak done fried chicken style. The burger bun is nice and soft, the veggie patties are more real than nature itself, and my goodness, taste these fries with Provencal herbs and these panisses!

9, rue de Lancry - 10th arrondissement

For Asian food lovers

12. Tien Hiang

This small Vietnamese restaurant nestled at the end of Rue Bichat, a true institution since 1999, may not look like much, but it is undeniably one of the best in the capital. 100% vegan, the menu features dishes that don't look vegan at all: crispy pork, cashew nut chicken stir fry, satay beef, shrimp steamed dumplings... The texture is similar to animal products, the imitation is impressive, and the taste is incredible (try the spring rolls, clearly the best in Paris). Plus, the prices are very affordable. Our favorite is the "chicken" stir fry with black mushrooms served with sticky rice, just writing about it makes our mouths water.

More info
14, rue Bichat – 10th
Every day from 12pm to 2:30pm and from 6:30pm to 10:30pm

Closed on Tuesdays

13. Bodhi Vegan

Just as committed, here, not a trace of meat, but fake names and a texture similar to different meats, like at Tien Hiang. The two Vietnamese restaurants are not far from each other, and at Bodhi, we love the skewers and tempuras. Plus, the chef keeps the unsold food to distribute it to the homeless during outreach programs.

More info
23, avenue Claude-Vellefaux – 10th
Monday to Saturday from 11:30am to 2:30pm and 6:30pm to 10:30pm

Sunday from 6:30pm to 10:30pm

14. Vegebowl

In the family of Vietnamese restaurants, I ask for Vegebowl. Opened after Tien Hiang by its former chef who decided to go solo, the restaurant offers a very similar menu to that of Tien Hiang. Cantonese rice, "fried chicken" (incredibly good), spring rolls, and even a pot of black pepper beef… Here too, all the "meat" is made from textured soy proteins, perfectly cooked and prepared.

24, rue du Faubourg-Saint-Martin – 10th
Monday to Saturday from 12pm to 3pm and 7pm to 11pm

15. Veggie flavors

A fourth and last Vietnamese restaurant that has a similar menu is Vege's flavors, a completely vegetarian restaurant near Bastille. Nems, ravioli and ban cuon (you know, those flat dumplings stuffed with minced meat or black mushrooms), bo-bun and chicken made from textured soy protein, whether you are vegetarian or not, you will enjoy it, I promise.

29, rue de Charenton – 12e
Open from Monday to Saturday from 11:30am to 2:30pm and from 6:30pm to 10:30pm

16. Mori Café

Forgive us as we're going to swear: oh my goodness, it's so good! In this little canteen in Bastille district that offers only a few typical Japanese dishes to be enjoyed sitting on tatami mats, we happily slurp some absolutely delicious udon served in a thick and mega creamy curry broth. Toppings include spring onions, crispy leeks, corn, and togarashi because we only have one life to be happy. Sometimes we dream about it even at night.

2, rue des Taillandiers - 11th
Open Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 12pm to 3pm
Friday and Saturday from 12pm to 8:45pm

17. Bloom Sushi

Forget the sushi from your local Japanese restaurant, here is some high-level Japanese cuisine! The king of vegetarian botanical sushi, Christian Ventura, who reigns over two crazy Montreal addresses, has exported the concept across the Atlantic to land right in the 17th. The result is a distinguished yet cozy, comfortable, 100% vegetarian and absolutely delicious restaurant, where incredibly tasty rolls, "Omakase" tasting platter of vegetarian salmon rolls, futomaki, gyozas... all of exceptional refinement, intertwine. Here, everything is meant to be shared and you would want the small plates to never stop coming. Our favorite? The Mr. Crunch pieces, with shiitake, oyster mushrooms, avocado, masago arare and truffle tartare sauce. Enjoy it near a candle, on a banquette, surrounded by dried flowers.Under a dim light, with impeccable service. The perfect address to impress your date.

99, rue Jouffroy-d'Abbans – 17th
From Tuesday to Saturday, for lunch and dinner

For afrovegan food

18. Jah Jah by le Tricycle

Ready to taste the best hot dogs of your life? We promise we're not exaggerating. In 2013, le tricycle was a tricycle.Pushed by Coralie & Daqui and who traveled around the capital selling their different hot dogs. But now, with Jah Jah, we revisit the afrovegan cuisine that makes your mouth water, with a hot, cold, and raw bowl, vegetables with creole influences, fresh smoothies, and above all, crazy sides - including cauliflower wings and this vegan hot dog with a double dose of holy guacamole and fried onions on top.

Jah Jah by le Tricycle
11, rue des Petites-Écuries – 10th Arrondissement

19. L’Embuscade

The biggest party animals among us already know the address, for the rest, you just need to move a few meters away from Place Pigalle to discover one of the most charming restaurants in the neighborhood. As an appetizer, feast on the succulent grilled corn, coated in homemade jerk sauce and delicately flavored with coconut. For the main course, enjoy the seasonal vegetable mafé accompanied by turmeric-infused broken rice, and finally, for dessert, indulge in the diablitos – small donuts filled with dark chocolate and served with a caramel and grated coconut sauce. Each dish is an explosion of flavors, a discovery of unknown tastes. Every preparation is well-thought-out, balanced, and surprising. It bursts in your mouth, it's astonishing, mind-blowing, it punches your taste buds and caresses your palate. L’Embuscade will leave you speechless, craving for more.cake is a treasure, there is never enough of it.

47, rue de la Rochefoucault – 9th

20. Chéri Coco

Like its afrovegan counterparts, Chéri Coco is a hidden gem worth a visit, but it's also the first vegan restaurant in Pantin. The cuisine is Afro-Caribbean, using products sourced from organic and sustainable agriculture.on. Roasted oyster mushroom skewers with spices, breaded maki rolls, black-eyed pea fritters, or a daily special that is always just and flavorful.

12, Ateliers Alley - Pantin

To eat street food

21. Samam

Formerly known as Veggie Tasty, the place has changed its name but the menu remains the same. And fortunately, because it has brought us a lot of joy during our lunch breaks at the office. On the menu, four delicious recipes...The bowls are really delicious, including the Greek one with seitan kebab-style, tzatziki, black olives, and cucumber, or its oriental version with spiced rice. Really, it's approved.

78, rue La Fayette - 9th

22. Vegetal Food Court

It hasn't been around for a few months but it's already made a name for itself. The new addition to Rue du Faubourg-du-Temple offers a well-thought-out street food menu that's 100% plant-based and 100% delicious, with burgers, hot dogs, and more.All-vegetable pizzas. Special mention for Toscane with homemade tomato cream, chickenless tenders, confit tomatoes, arugula, mushrooms, mozzarisela, vegetable pesto, and mascarpone. It's rich, it's indulgent, and sometimes, it's all we crave.

33, rue du Faubourg-du-Temple – 10th

23. Today Tomorrow

This 100% vegan concept store is a true revolution and includes, in one place, a crazy restaurant menu, a grocery store to stock up on delicious products, and a shop that brings together ethical and responsible clothing, accessories, and shoes. At the table, you devour a seitan bourguignon, a BLT-style burger, or a sandwich filled with plant-based mozzarella... Until the weekend brunch and its famous plate of savory pancakes accompanied by scrambled tofu, roasted vegetables, and veggie sausage. Completely crazy.

24. Jimmy's Street Food

Just a few steps away from Pigalle, we enter a small shop that has just opened its doors a couple of doors down from the former Bus Palladium, delighting food lovers with its well-thought-out menu that is both indulgent and 100% vegan. And what a menu it is! All the codes of street food are revisited in a vegan version, and it's a success. We especially love the seitan tenders and the Caesar salad with its irresistible tartare sauce. The more adventurous will be tempted by the jackfruit-based wings – they taste just like the real thing. This is a one-of-a-kind place that innovates and takes us to completely new territory.

Right now, they have the brown dwich with portobello mushrooms, fried chicken style, mayonnaise like a peppercorn sauce, mushroom and yellow onion compote, homemade smoked sauce, tender Jerusalem artichoke, fresh chestnut, and xérès endive. Hold on tight! For 8 years, this canteen has been stirring up our lunch breaks, and it's about time we revealed the secret. Located by the canal, Sol Semilla tantalizes our taste buds with a plant-based cuisine, incredibly delicious but also wonderfully healthy. It's just the right balance, packed with superfoods to help us get through the winter. Every day brings a new, short and efficient menu, featuring a raw plate and the ever-present large plate where various cheeky preparations compete with each other - a grain, a legume, warm vegetables, raw vegetables, a cream, and a spirulina caviar. Everything is prepared with love in the morning using fresh ingredients. Honestly, hats off.

31. So Nat

One of our favorites on the list, and you'll quickly understand why. In this little vegan canteen, there are three recipes of very filling bowls that change with each season, and inside, a bunch of well-thought-out and seasoned preparations. It's perfect. For only 10€, the Divine bowl includes cumin and sweet pepper potatoes, crispy curry chickpeas, labneh, asparagus and buckwheat peas, polenta celery root shavings, Swiss chard and corn fritters, wild garlic pesto, and kasha. 32. Le Myrha

A quaint neighborhood canteen, Le Myrha is the best place for a sunny lunch when wandering around the Goutte d'Or. The food is really, really good and also very affordable, all served in a large and pleasant dining room. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a brunch with friends or family on the weekend.

The rest of the menu is equally worth trying, so make sure to stop by.

It is in a former butcher shop on Rue du Faubourg-Saint-Denis that the vegetarian version of Daily Syrien has settled, thus becoming better. For several years now, Land&Monkeys bakeries and pastry shops have been popping up all over the capital, and honestly, we can't complain. Because here, everything is vegan, from the delicious pastries that adorn the shop window to the pastries, cakes, salads, and sandwiches for lunch. The dough is the result of several months of work. Behind the display, you'll find classics like cinnamon, sugar glaze, or cinnamon roll, as well as recipes that came straight from the pastry chef's imagination, like the fizzy banana, rum, and lime. The place is so popular that they even added a brownie bar by Boneshaker, because you can never have too many good things.

Le Potager de Charlotte is one of those rare addresses that prove vegetables are far from boring. Here, chef David Valentin creates four outstanding dishes, including this millet and cauliflower cream with grilled Jerusalem artichoke, toasted almond, green radish, and young spinach shoots. It is accompanied by the star appetizer of the restaurant since its opening in 2016, the avocado in the style of a boiled egg with turmeric hummus, and the addition of kala namak salt gives the impression of biting into a real egg. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and these lines bring back so many delightful memories.
