The Envy Banquet

After Pride and Anger, his two successful Parisian restaurants, Chef Eloi Spinnler continues his journey through the seven deadly sins, this time taking on envy with a brand new restaurant that gives new meaning to the all-you-can-eat buffet. This spot is less about bistro dining and more about relaxation, opening in the Marais on September 4 (with a soft opening starting from August 21). What's on the menu? A spacious 500 m2 area spread over two levels, featuring around a hundred homemade offerings, including 60 savory dishes, 15 cheeses, and 25 desserts.

The Stop

The famous chef Mashama Bailey – spotted in a dedicated episode of Chef’s Table on Netflix – is bringing her pots and pans to the international scene! After The Grey, her iconic establishment in the Savannah region where she shines a light on Southern U.S. cuisine, she’s setting up shop in Paris with her friend and partner Johno Morisano, in what was once the Café de l'Espérance in the 7th. Together, they’ve decided to keep the spirit of the place in true Parisian bistro style with their own twist: the flavors of Port City Southern cuisine featuring the signature dish, Chicken Country Captain.
