Claude Colliot
A real gem in the Marais, this restaurant with the same name as the chef offers refined cuisine with local products. You can go there with your eyes closed because when it comes to cooking, Claude Colliot is a true reference: Sofia Coppola and Quentin Tarantino have even called upon him! On the menu, which is renewed with the seasons, you will find the poultry or fish of the day and Claude's own vegetables that he cultivates in his own garden in the Loire Valley. But be careful, local does not mean expensive, you can get by with a set menu for lunch with starter, main course, and dessert for only 30 euros!

Le garde-manger des Dames
This little grocery-canteen in the 17th arrondissement is a must for locavorism. Isabelle, 28 years old, passionate about gastronomy, is the brainchild of this project: "I want to provide Parisians with local, organic, and seasonal products at affordable prices, so that everyone can rediscover the true taste of food every day." And you can trust her because she has travelled the roads of Île-de-France to find the crème de la crème. More than 150 products are displayed in her shop, from Provins to the beer of Vexin. As for the fruits and vegetables, they are as fresh as can be: harvested the day before and displayed in the morning. Be careful, it's not exactly a restaurant, but you can easily eat delicious sandwiches on the go without any problem.

Le Petit Rétro
With its Belle Epoque decoration, Le Petit Rétro is a Parisian bistro that we all love. But when it comes to the food, we have to say that we love it even more. « As much as we can, we prioritize local food », explains Grégory Dubois, associate director of Le Petit Rétro. « We work with seasonal fruits and vegetables and we try to reduce carbon consumption by choosing produce from nearby sources in the outer suburbs. » For example, you can enjoy some Brie de Meaux, or delicious sorbets made by Pédone, a passionate artisan glacier du Val-de-Marne. You will have understood, in addition to having super dishes, the products of Petit Rétro are as local as can be!

Le Bichat
If you're looking for a friendly and affordable local canteen, head to Le Bichat! You can enjoy their super healthy bowls made solely with local products. The restaurant mainly sources its ingredients from the local market (pumpkins, tomatoes, and flours from producers in Seine-et-Marne, imported bananas, oranges, and lemons) and organic wholesalers in Rungis. "Being a locavore is really the way to go," says Mathieu Cacos, manager of Le Bichat. "We prioritize local sourcing."

Bloom
After relocating from its previous address on Forge Royale Street, this little 100% Parisian locavore restaurant has settled on Parmentier Avenue. On the menu: freshly pressed organic fruit and vegetable juices made right there or Paris-roasted coffee beans ground before your eyes. It can't get any more homemade than that. "Working with the producers really enhances our cuisine; there's a genuine connection," explains Pauline Albenque, founder of Bloom, who aims to promote locavorism. "We truly want to encourage a new way of consuming and sustain French agricultural activity." We recommend paying them a visit, even if it's just to taste their delicious vegetarian bowls...

La REcyclerie
A unique place in the capital, La REcyclerie is as locavore as it gets. With its urban farm located on the Petite Ceinture, this hybrid spot in the 18th arrondissement has decided to grow its own "made in Paris" fruits and vegetables to offer them on the menu of its restaurant. But that's not all, a backyard with 16 hens and 2 Indian Runner ducks (used to eliminate slugs) has even been set up. With nearly 4000 eggs laid per year, the animals have enough to feed many Parisians. And on Thursday evenings, you can even shop directly with small producers. A great way to get started with eco-responsibility.

As the name suggests, at Bistrotters there is no fixed menu: the menu changes throughout the year. And for good reason, here they only cook with seasonal fruits and vegetables! "We are very committed to the label 'Products from here, cooked here', that's why we have a variety of fruits and vegetables from Île-de-France," explains Adrien Desveaux, the manager.
