"Ah, English cuisine! At first, you think it's crap, and in the end, you regret that it isn't!" These words were spoken by Jacques Chirac on the occasion of a Franco-British summit in London. If English cuisine has such a bad reputation, it's because the French imagine that it consists of fluorescent jellies and dishes dripping with sauce and soggy bread. However, this is far from the truth when it comes to English breakfasts, which are among the most popular in the world. At Le Bonbon, we are super fans of the traditional English breakfast: eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans, tomatoes, potatoes, mushrooms... just writing about it makes our mouths water. If this list hasn't convinced you, know that the English brunch has many delicious variations. You just have to find the one you like. To do that, there's nothing better than going to try it out! We have selected for you... 5 spots to have an English breakfast in Paris. 1. Holly Belly We already loved Holly Belly for its 100% homemade cuisine and its always high-quality, local and seasonal products. If the establishment has two addresses at number 19 and number 5 of the same street, it is within the latter that you will find everything you need for a truly British breakfast. Eggs, bacon, sa..Bacon, baked beans, roasted tomatoes, hash browns... it's all there! Special mention for the homemade fennel sausages, they're delightful.
