World Cup, launch of the Russia Today channel, presidential elections in March: one thing is for sure, in 2018, we will hear about Russia, more than once. Trendsetter at heart, le Bonbon has looked into Paris' Russian spots that make us experience the world of doubitchou and dash cams. Russian restaurant in Paris: ask for the program!
One of the oldest: La Cantine Russe
Opened in 1923 by Fedor Chaliapin (one of the founders of the Rachmaninov conservatory and the school of music) to satisfy the students of the conservatory, La Cantine is the ideal place to grab a bite after an exhibit at the Palais de Tokyo or during one of their special nights to listen to traditional music.

The studious one: Little Biblioteka
Cosy, with a Sunday brunch from 11 am to 5 pm and a (not so) small library of 2000 books, you can easily nestle yourself here before the arrival of sunny days or take a date to this unconventional spot, which we dare say is the most modern Russian restaurant in Paris.

The most ethanolized: the Kremlin
The Kremlin is the cliché of a bar from the time of Soviet Russia. You can enjoy a Baltika (Russian beer) comfortably seated on one of the worn leather sofas. There you will find a foosball table where the players are part of Soviet teams, newspapers written in Cyrillic alphabet, a refurbished bench from an Orthodox church... And a wide choice of imported vodka. Nasdrovia!

The most vegan: Ikra
A Zakouskis ("tapas" in Russian) bar with a south-facing terrace, it's an absolute must-visit. For the more reluctant ones, Ikra also serves French cuisine, and both options are vegan. It's sure to satisfy all lovers of Russian restaurants.
Ikra 119, boulevard Raspail - 6e The most traditional: Pirosmani Pirosmani is not exactly Russian but Georgian: here you can devour a delicious khachapuri (cheese bread) or a tchakhapouli (lamb with tarragon and coriander).
