We enter the doors of Oh Oui! and discover a small, bright and minimalist shop. A display filled with cakes that are all tempting us. A slice of custard flan? Some cheesecake maybe? Perfect to offer for a meal, and you'll impress more than one person by proudly announcing that this dessert has a low glycemic index and contains less sugar. Skeptical? No reason to be, because these pastries have been tasted and approved.

Sugary pastries with no white sugar? It's possible. Delphine and Fanny have been working on these recipes for years - and the result is impressive. In collaboration with the Institut Pasteur de Lille, the pioneers in diabetes research, 2 years of research have resulted in the perfect recipes with a glycemic index of no more than 25 (compared to around 55 for a traditional pastry). No harmful sweeteners in this story, only natural alternatives like coconut flower sugar and a selection of fiber-rich flours. And in the end, delicious and flavorful pastries end up on our plate. It's about time to indulge without feeling guilty, because what hides behind the windows of Oh Oui! means us no harm. We are tempted by the chocolate delights, like the intensely rich and extra gooey brownies, or the chocolate hazelnut finger with its sumptuous cocoa shortbread crust and roasted hazelnuts that we still dream about. Of course, we also adore the small bites of heavenly joy, petitesYour fruity delights - and Oh Yes! they really get it. We loved the tanginess of their lemon finger and the combination of pear and almond cream in their seasonal finger. And because it's always difficult to choose: the gourmet coffee range allows you to select more different flavors in smaller sizes and avoid frustration. The embarrassment of choice rather than the embarrassing choice! We love this place for its indulgence, of course, but especially for the smiles it can bring, knowing that diabetes affects nearly 5 million people in France. And let's face it, seeing a child, affected by diabetes, being able to enjoy a double chocolate cookie, warms the heart. Oh Yes! accompanies us in a new way of life: less sugar for a healthier lifestyle. A real favorite that we will not miss to visit at every festival and every special occasion, as their specialties...Surprises change throughout the year.
