The Boréal

An ethical and sustainable cuisine is establishing itself in Paris with The Boréal, a new creative bistronomy restaurant in the 18th arrondissement. Here, they are aiming for a simple return to traditional codes with dishes inspired by the daily arrivals and the seasons. On the menu? Crab salad, creamy bisque with vadouvan, sea plants and hazelnut butter brioche, or perhaps veal loin and barbecue lobster, 50/50 jus, braised lettuce, girolle mushrooms and red currants... It's enough to make your mouth water.

Le Boréal
39, rue Montcalm – 18th arrondissement
Opening in September 2023

Facette

Mazette lovers, rejoice! The legendary Parisian club on a barge is transitioning into a restaurant with Facette, a spot that is just as delicious as it is festive. What's on the agenda? Generous and committed cuisine, natural wine, and a great time by the water. And during the second part of the evening, the playlist switches to funk, house, and disco, with new dishes served until 3 am for those who get hungry between dance moves.

Grouvie

The team at La Nouvelle Garde doesn't stop. After Brasserie Bellanger, Dubillot, Martin, the team takes us on a new adventure in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Opened last June, the Brasserie des Prés unveils its Bar Grouvie on the second floor for the back-to-school season. What's on the menu? A cozy, elegant, and stylish decor (all in red), with amazing cocktails and a daily evening music program.

Grouvie
6, cour du Commerce-Saint-André – 6th
Open every day from 6pm to 1am

iRASSHAi

800 square meters of Japanese drinks and food: that's what iRASSHAi offers us.I have been here since August 8th. The concept store, whose name means "welcome" in Japanese, promises to delight us with distinct spaces that celebrate multiple techniques and specialties. The objective of its founders, Xavier Marchand and Thierry Maincent, is to bring together the essence of culinary cultures from the Land of the Rising Sun! An Asian grocery store with imported Japanese products, a bar, a café, a canteen, a bistronomic restaurant... A true contemporary temple of a thousand and one flavors.

iRASSHAi
40, rue du Louvre – 1st
Open every day from 8am to midnight (from 9am on weekends)

Faubourg Daimant

Nom nom nom nom. For years, the counter of Plan D on rue des Vinaigriers (10th) has been delighting us with its incredibly decadent sandwiches, just a stone's throw from the canal. Big news: Alice Tuyet's team announces the opening of a seated restaurant, Faubourg Daimant, with thoughtfully crafted small plates and the same touch of madness that keeps us coming back. A sauce-based and fundamentally plant-based cuisine where skill, sustainability, and ethics come together, and of course, unmatched flavors. Choose from the à la carte option or the tasting menu (around fifty euros), accompanied by carefully chosen wines. Consider yourself warned.

Faubourg Daimant
20, rue du Faubourg-Poissonnière – 10th
Open every day from 7pm to 10:30pm

Le Gainsbarre

In April 1979, during the television show L'invité du jeudi, Serge Gainsbourg described his house as a "sitting-room, a music room, a brothel, a museum...": in short, a space that is difficult to define, but will be open to visitors from September 20th. The man with the cabbage head lived at 5 bis, rue de Verneuil for 22 years, and the interior of his house has remained intact since his passing. The added bonus? At number 14, in addition to a museum showcasing the life and career of the artist, you will find a bookstore-boutique and Gainsbarre, a café-restaurant and piano-bar that will accompany us from breakfast to the evening cocktail.

Maison Gainsbourg
5 bis/14, rue de Verneuil — 7e
Ouverture le 20 septembre 2023

Guefen

Ohad Amzallag, Israeli chef spotted in the kitchens of Shouk, finally opens his first Parisian establishment. Head to Rue du Vertbois, in the Marais, to indulge in seafood and Levantine flavors. The little twist? The chef has decided to season everything exclusively with salt. Surprising, but knowing the chef's talent, we can't wait to taste it.

Guefen
9, rue du Vertbois – 3e
Ouvert du mardi au samedi de 19h à 23h30

Blanc

On the side of the 16th arrondissement, a highly gastronomic table is opening its doors. The double-starred chef Shinichi Sato, originally from Hokkaido, Japan, unveils Blanc, his brand new creation, carefully crafted from the menu to the service and the art of the table. In short, an exquisite cuisine awaits us this fall.

Blanc
52, rue de Longchamp – 16th
Opening at the start of the school year

Manteigaria

After three locations in Lisbon and two in Porto, Manteigaria is expanding to the rest of Europe and opening a brand new store in the French capital. This is great news for all lovers of pastéis de nata, because here you can taste the best ones! Bite into their crispy little tarts and dive into Portuguese culture, all without leaving Paris.

Manteigaria
24, rue Rambuteau – 3e
Open every day from 8am to 8pm

Boubalé

Boubalé is the new address that will be heard on every Parisian's lips, nestled within the Le Grand Mazarin hotel. A favorite expression of Ashkenazi grandmothers which means "my little doll, my darling" in Yiddish, Boubalé will be the culinary expression of chef Assaf Granit who reinvents the generous cuisine of his childhood. Between delicacy and indulgence, one thing is for sure, we will soon embark on a gastronomic journey to the borders of Central Europe and the Mediterranean.

Hémicycle

Stéphane Manigold is opening his eighth Parisian address! This time, it's happening in the 7th arrondissement, with Hémicycle. In the kitchen, we find Falvio Lucarini, who previously worked at the restaurants Le Gabriel, Passerini, and Bistrot Flaubert, and he offers us an uncomplicated gastronomic experience, a pastry bar, a wine room, and a cocktail bar on the upper floor. Bingo!

The Brasserie des Arts

For a 100% Parisian experience, let's talk about the Brasserie des Arts. Located in the heart of the Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood, this new address will delight both tourists strolling through the streets of Paris and locals who love their neighborhood life. Here, chef Valentine Davase puts traditional French dishes in the spotlight with good market and seasonal cuisine. From a shared entrecôte to a delicious croque-madame, no fuss, just goodness!

La Brasserie des Arts
28, rue Saint-André-des-Arts – 6th

Tracé

Tracé was born from a bold fusion between two incredibly talented individuals. On one hand, there's Clément Vergeat, a former contestant from Top Chef, with his French touch inspired by Japanese cuisine and his desire to create an extraordinary menu. On the other hand, we have Félix Brogniart, who brings a Nordic touch with a carefully curated wine cellar. Together, they will delight our taste buds.

Tracé
15, rue de Richelieu – 1er
Open from Tuesday to Saturday from 7pm to 10:30pm

Sugo

Here's some great news for all the pasta lovers out there (like me). Sugo is coming to the 2nd arrondissement with its pasta fresca and incredible homemade sauces. You've probably already noticed them at the Belleville Food Market in the past few months (and maybe even tasted their delicious cacio e pepe dish), but this time you can find them at their own place. All we have to say is, enjoy the discovery and buon appetito!

Sugo
16, rue Saint-Augustin – 2e
Ouverture début septembre 2023
