Oh My Jerk !

Just a few steps from the Saint-Martin Canal, a new spot with Caribbean vibes has just opened its doors, and I proudly present Oh My Jerk!, the first spot in Paris dedicated to jerk chicken, a classic straight from Jamaica. With decor that flirts with punk culture and tells the story of the island – and its diaspora in the UK – you’ll enjoy jerk chicken prepared the traditional way, with a homemade marinade, grilled to perfection, and served with rice & peas. For those with a hearty appetite, the dish also comes as an ultra-generous burger in a soft potato bun, which we happily pair with deliciously smoky grilled vegetables and jerk-spiced potatoes. And for smaller cravings, don’t miss out on the chicken popcorn (a must-try), grilled corn, and Jamaican patties, perfect for sharing or keeping all to yourself!

Vandal

In front of the Buttes-Chaumont park, the couple Alix Devallois and Paul Landre (formerly of Racines) have set up their dream sandwich shop: Vandal. Here, the décor is minimalist, with polished concrete that’s all about no frills or fuss. But honestly, who cares? We’re here to get our hands deliciously messy and take big bites out of our sandwiches. A quick look at the menu leads us to the enticing Vandal Boulette with its chicken meatballs drenched in a generous tomato sauce, topped with parmesan and chili pickles, all snugly tucked into a brioche-style hallah bun from Union Boulangerie. And for those who adore ocean flavors, there's the Vandal Spicy Sardines with seasonal veggies, herb salad, sriracha mayo, and as the name suggests, sardines aplenty!

Choukran Sentier

After delighting the entire Saint-Georges neighborhood with delicious Moroccan-style sandwiches, Choukran heads to other parts of Paris and sets up shop in the trendy Sentier district. A new address, sure, but the recipes remain unchanged: a Kazdal that rocks with msemen just the way we love it, a top-notch Bledwich in a Moroccan brioche, all elevated by a secret Choukran sauce. Brace yourself for takeoff, your taste buds are about to soar!

Chik’Chill by Mohamed Cheikh

The grand champion of Top Chef in 2021, Mohamed Cheikh made us wait 3 years before opening his first restaurant just a stone's throw from Paris, Meïda. And now that he has tasted the joy of being a restaurant owner, nothing can hold him back, as the chef has just opened a second restaurant, Chik’Chill, dedicated this time to street food. Still in the Paris suburbs, this time near the Créteil Soleil shopping center, the chef offers endless fries and fried chicken, but with a French twist, please!
