At the Top

At 78, rue Vieille-du-Temple, all it takes is a lift to discover this hidden rooftop at the top of Le Marais, offering a breathtaking 360° view and an atmosphere like a suspended garden bathed in soft light. At At the Top, the show is as much about the view as it is about the food: miso eggplants, grilled octopus, slow-cooked lamb, and a bread pudding that warms the heart. Everything is cooked right before your eyes, over a fire, in an open kitchen that crackles like a chic campfire. You go up to be amazed, you stay to share, toast, and enjoy. The kind of place you definitely don’t want to talk too much about. Oops, too late.
