The Boréal

Discover a new neighborhood gem that will surely capture your heart. Located in the heart of the 18th arrondissement, in the northern part of Montmartre, the Grand Nord group presents us with the collaborative cuisine of Philippine Jaillet and Charles Neyers, featuring dishes that blend flavors from both land and sea. With a cozy atmosphere, locally-sourced ingredients, and dishes that are both satisfying and exquisitely refined, this establishment invites us in from morning till night, without pause. Pull up a seat at the counter to watch the culinary magic unfold and savor the delightful scents wafting from the kitchen. Among the seafood starters, make sure to try the "« Chawanmushi de champignons » featuring pickled girolles, praline ceps, a Japanese egg custard with a French twist. And don't miss out on the house's signature dish - a vegetarian wellington that changes with the seasons. It's simply irresistible.

Pagaille

Pagaille is a bit of Paris, and a bit of the South. With its sandy yellow, terracotta, and orange colors, this restaurant brings us full sunshine. The three party-loving friends - Aurélie Cren, Dorian Besson, and Fabien Gavard-Gaton - have opened a place that reflects them: cheerful, lively, and passionate. In terms of cuisine, chef Louis Robergeau adopts a particular philosophy: the revaluation of ingredients. Garum and miso pots are cherished, while the excess daily bread is transformed into a subtle and surprising ice cream. But Pagaille is not just about stunning flavors, it's also a second home for the locals, where a quiet table during the week becomes lively on the weekends.

Kapara

Le Balagan is dead, long live Kapara! One year after the closing of the most "joyful mess" in the center of Paris, a new restaurant has just appeared on the ground floor of the Renaissance Paris Vendôme Hotel. Kapara, a well-chosen name for this restaurant that celebrates life and love, as it means "my darling" in Hebrew. On the agenda: laughter, celebration, dance, and dishes with plenty of spice signed by the Israeli star chef Assaf Granit. Here, cocktails and plates are meant to be shared. We melted (literally) for the lamb chops coq-au-vin style or the "Pinky Swear", a very spicy octopus salad with chickpeas and celeeri, doused in grapefruit juice. Get ready, because the evening promises to be lively. 🥂🎉.See this post on Instagram A post shared by Kapara.Paris (@kapara.paris) Kapara 9, rue d'Alger - 1st Open Monday to Saturday from 7pm to 1am Phone: 07 67 40 56 29 More information Mojju Discovered 10 years ago on Top Chef (and that doesn't make us any younger), Thibault Sombardier has opened a new restaurant where he combines his passion for Korean cuisine with a slight obsession for bistros.
