That's it! The terraces are open, Paris is slowly coming back to life and we are delighted about it. It is actually on a beautiful sunny day that we spot the newcomer in the neighborhood: Chouchou! We settle down in the shade of the large olive trees on the huge terrace with 120 seats. We order a coffee while watching the pedestrian street slowly come alive, we feel good, relaxed, almost transported elsewhere. "When my son was little and he cried in the street, he always gave a little sweet. Sometimes I would drive around the neighborhood for hours to find a spot and he would save me one. Chouchou is a sweetheart," whispers a regular customer. The extremely friendly welcome and the cheerful atmosphere encourage us to stay for lunch. We opt for the lunch menu (starter-main course or main course-dessert: €13.95) with a simple and fresh tomato mozzarella salad and the half-roasted chicken with thyme sauce. But we will definitely come back to try the lobster ravioli, which is the chef's specialty. Later in the afternoon, we indulge in one of the homemade pastries, a delicious lemon tart. It's the perfect treat for a sweet ending to our meal. As the sun sets, the atmosphere becomes even more magical. The terrace is illuminated by fairy lights and the chatter of the customers fills the air. We sip on a refreshing cocktail and enjoy the vibrant energy of the city. Chouchou has quickly become our favorite spot in the neighborhood. It's a place where we can relax, enjoy good food, and feel a sense of belonging. Whether it's for a quick coffee break, a leisurely lunch, or a cozy evening with friends, Chouchou never disappoints.About Moroccan specialties, just to indulge in best-sellers that everyone in the neighborhood talks about: a chicken pastilla with preserved lemon and grilled almonds, as well as a mouth-watering lamb tagine with prunes. We also spotted this place for a brunch with our big group of friends. For the afterwork enthusiasts, know that the brasserie offers a selection of cocktails and draft beers that you can enjoy during a competitive happy hour. And yes, the happy hours at this place start from 3:30 pm... until closing time! Who can ask for more? And as if all of this weren't enough, themed nights will also be organized once a month. Speaking of parties, it will be possible to reserve the back room for meetings or large gatherings. The best part: the kitchen is open from 7 am without interruption, so don't be surprised if Chouchou becomes your new home!
