"To live happily, live hidden" says the proverb. We don't have the solution for the first part, but for the second, yes! We've spent time finding the best hidden restaurants and exploring Paris, hidden bars & restaurants published by Parigramme. As a result, we have a not-so-secret list that we're sharing with you without hesitation. We're nice, so you can go ahead, these addresses are all yours... Enjoy!
In place of sports
The gourmet table at the chic sports club Le Klay is a true hidden oasis in the heart of Montorgueil. Luxurious and refined, the covered terrace is its biggest asset, even though the interior decoration is nothing to be ashamed of. As for the cuisine, it's simple, the chef is a former chef from La Tour d'Argent; no need, therefore, to explain the quality of the dishes. The only downside: the service, attentive, but not always up to par.

Klay Saint Sauveur
4 bis, rue Saint-Sauveur – 2nd
Behind two immense wooden doors
The idea was born out of the desire to welcome friends to the house every evening. Nestled behind the 404 and the Andy Wahloo, this restaurant is decorated and furnished like a beautiful house where you'd want to spend hours. The cuisine is simple but made with super quality products. A ping-pong table right in the middle of the restaurant, dressers, records, dining room, living room with a big sofa... there is even a bed upstairs with its own bathroom for the more adventurous. Here, you are at home, but better. However, remember to make a reservation.
The Back
69, rue des Gravilliers - 3rd
The smaller, the better
Unbelievable in the street, this micro-restaurant (4 small tables) is well hidden in the depths of the charming village Saint-Paul. Since small is the norm here, the kitchen is also very tiny. Fortunately, there is enough space for the couple who runs it to impress us with their homemade quiches and other dishes that we enjoy in the sun and with a good mood, please!
The Little House in the Courtyard
Green Courtyard of Village Saint-Paul
9, Saint-Paul Street - 4th arrondissement
The Ladies' One
A colorful and warm bistro... that offers a little haven of greenery and tranquility behind the main dining area! Palm trees, cobblestones, colorful tables, teas, aperitifs... It has it all! If you want to know more, go there! You will be charmed by this place that exudes absolute serenity.
Bistrot des Dames
18, rue des Dames - 17th arrondissement
Head-to-head with the Eiffel Tower
In addition to being perched on the rooftop terrace of the Quai Branly Museum, Les Ombres offers a breathtaking view. The Eiffel Tower is so close it could steal a bite from our (beloved) plate. A must-see/do at least once.
Les Ombres
27, quai Branly - 7e
Under the pavement, the restaurant
In addition to being hidden in the base of the Madeleine church (yes, really), the Foyer de la Madeleine is an associative restaurant open to everyone. You can eat cafeteria-style food that does the trick, in every sense of the term, since the meal costs 16 euros for guests and 9 euros for members. Amen?
Foyer de la Madeleine
Place de la Madeleine - 8th arrondissement
Zen, let's be zen
Our busy Parisian lives rarely allow us time to take a break. So hurry up and seek refuge in the super relaxing restaurant at Spa Le Centre tout Naturellement. On the menu, recipes prepared according to the strict principles of naturopathy, which means gluten-free, meat-free, dessert-free, and definitely no coffee. Well, at least there are relaxing treatments available in the house to enjoy.
Le Centre tout Naturellement
83 bis, rue La Fayette - 9e
Serving a good cause
The Cour du Faubourg is truly not a restaurant like any other. It is part of a work reintegration center, so the people who work there learn a trade under an authentic Eiffel glass roof. Customers come to enjoy a home-style cuisine with a menu at 9.50 euros, quite welcome in the neighborhood...
La Cour du Faubourg
29, rue du Faubourg-Saint-Antoine - 11e
From squatting to fine dining
Les Frigos, a former refrigerated warehouse where goods were delivered until the opening of Rungis, now houses around a hundred painters, sculptors, and musicians, offering them a unique workspace in the capital. When you go down a graffiti-covered staircase, you come across Emilie Suzanne's table d'hôte: 20 seats, an explosion of flavors in your mouth, and you leave by paying double (set menu). To experience this, you need to make a reservation.
The Office
19, rue des Frigos - 13th
A little closer to the stars
And by stars, we mean movie stars. The Bistrot des Cinéastes, hidden on the upper floor of the cinema with the same name, is a feast of wine, boards, and comforting dishes: organic salmon with potatoes, duck breast... All of this while lounging in big red armchairs (as expected in a cinema) and in a relaxed atmosphere. Special mention to the cinema's program, always top-notch!
Cinéastes Bistro
7, Clichy Avenue - 17th
