The Editor

Paris is a celebration, but it’s also a fantastic hub for gourmet street food! Since we live in a city that’s always buzzing, isn’t it perfect to have our favorite spots where we know a quick bite will always be a hit?

Curb

A delicious aroma of street food wafts over rue de Clignancourt. Yes, a street food aroma, but make it veggie, please! Curb, the new foodie hotspot in the 18th, delights the neighborhood with cheeky seasonal sandwiches and bowls, and of course, it’s all 100% veggie. What’s on the menu? A Magic Mushroom Melt with roasted mushrooms and caramelized onions; an Eggcellent that perfectly blends scrambled eggs and cheddar; and a Going Back to Cauli with chili crisp hummus and fried cauliflower topped with zaatar. And don’t miss out on their newest winter creation!

All Out with potato cake and scallions, raclette cheese, mushroom parsley mix, pickled cucumber, caramelized nuts... pure comfort to devour. Everything is prepared on-site, assembled in a  fresh morning bread  and can be made into a bowl (at no extra cost, because we're nice like that). We accompany it all with  smashed potatoes  with gooey cheddar and a homemade drink, and that's it: we’ll be back!

Address: 36 Rue de Clignancourt, 75018 Paris, France

Chez Alain Miam Miam

Alain Miam Miam is a bit of the maestro of quick bites. It's true, he has nothing left to prove to us... but how can you get tired of it? Gone are the old dry ham sandwiches from the corner bakery that have sat around long enough that no one would think of eating them. Alain Miam Miam, on the other hand, has a list of ingredients that would make any greengrocer blush, XXL breads, and a little toasting to seal the deal... We're crazy about it.

Address: 26 Rue Charlot, 75003 Paris, France

Le Favori

As its name suggests, this is one of those must-visit spots where you rush to enjoy a tasty meal. Breads from the Mamiche bakery, recipes crafted, imagined, and made fresh on the same day by the chef. The menu? Just like our beloved Chinese canteens, it’s organized by numbers. Our favorite number? 40: soft bun, farm-fresh breaded chicken, red cabbage, and a treasure sauce… So, what do you think?

Plan D

The storefront of this street-food shop located between the canal and Rue des Vinaigriers is sure to catch everyone's eye. Plant-based, seasonal, sustainable, colorful, crafted with real know-how, and above all, super delicious… The dwichs change with the months and showcase seasonal vegetables in all their glory. Each recipe features a lovely crispy piece breaded with cornflakes, vegetables prepared in all sorts of ways (roasted, charred, pickled, mashed, marinated, carpaccio…), and three homemade sauces, including a zesty mayo and an irresistible smoked juice simmered for hours.

Address: 22 Rue des Vinaigriers, 75010 Paris, France

Pig Character

Everything is delicious in a pig, and this spot is perfectly placed to prove it! Simply put, you wouldn’t believe it, but the ham and butter sandwich here is so gourmet that you’ll be left speechless. Farmhouse ham or oven-cooked, with Bordier butter spread on a delightful baguette. And of course… Enjoy it just like at grandma's house.

Address: 42 Rue Charlot, 75003 Paris, France

Montezuma

Montezuma is an address that truly impresses. Chef Julia Della, hailing from fine dining, creates mouthwatering sandwiches every day that delight savory food enthusiasts. You’ll be tempted by the little brioche bun that’s absolutely delicious to bite into and the crazy seasonings that keep us drooling. Come on, stop dreaming, it’s definitely worth a visit!

Address: 15 Rue Notre Dame des Victoires, 75002 Paris, France

Sando Club

There are little gems that we’d love to keep secret. But for you, we’ve decided to make a sacrifice. Here’s Sando Club. Nestled in the heart of the 11th, this cozy canteen is a real hit with its wide selection of colorful treats. We’re particularly drawn to the Torikatsu, a sandwich made with Japanese milk bread, panko-crusted chicken and sesame, spinach sprouts, red and white cabbage, carrots, and pickled red onions, all wrapped up in a sweet and spicy sauce. It’s to die for.

Adriana and Margot

Here, you can enjoy sandwiches that we can make ourselves, based on bagel-style bread (with onions, poppy seeds…) but thankfully without a hole in the middle! We can top it with two caviars of our choice – eggplant, mushrooms, black or green olives, sun-dried tomatoes, tarama, and more – cheese, fresh veggies, and cold cuts... And to finish? We pick our meat (turkey, pastrami...). A delight from the very first bite, and sure to be addictive!

Homer Lobster

No surprise here, their lobster roll was named the best in the world in 2018. What’s their bestseller paired with our favorite? The Connecticut: lightly warmed Breton lobster, seasoned with lemon butter and a delicious secret mix of herbs served in a buttery, toasted artisan bread... Oh, so delightful to bite into!

La Boutique Jaune - Sacha Finkelsztajn

A bright yellow storefront that just calls you in! A Yiddish sandwich shop where every product is delicious and tempting... On the menu: traditional breads reinvented in countless variations, and toppings straight from the Mediterranean and beyond (chickpeas from Israel, tarama from Greece, paprika cheese from Hungary...) And of course, you're free to create your sandwiches just the way you like, just like at home...

Salatim

Hear ye, hear ye! If you haven't discovered this little eatery in the heart of Paris yet, you absolutely must catch up! Besides the delicious Salatim – large vegetarian plates (hummus, fennel, eggplant caviar, sautéed carrots...) – which can be paired, if you like, with grilled kefta, our absolute favorite goes to the schnitzel sandwich. A baguette filled with a crispy breaded chicken cutlet and fresh veggies... Travel to Tel Aviv without leaving Paris, how does that sound?

Snack Attack

BOOM ! Open for just a few months, this little spot on Rue de Rochechouart is making a big splash. Between noon and two, we love to sneak in for their huge specialty that has recently taken nearly every foodista's Instagram by storm: the Mega Mega Focaccia. An enormous focaccia stuffed with creamy Italian tomato sauce, melt-in-your-mouth beef meatballs, and gooey provolone... All of this for just 11 euros. Simply to die for!
