The most retro: BB restaurant

Just a few steps away from Square Montholon, this retro-inspired bistro serves well-crafted dishes that we love to indulge in for lunch and dinner. On the menu: a crazy delicious chicken, girolle mushroom and parmesan risotto, tasty little cromesquis, and a delightful grilled meat accompanied by seasonal vegetables. If you're looking for us, in the evenings, you'll find us enjoying cocktails at the bar!

8, rue Pierre-Sémard – 9e
Tél. : 01 48 78 70 31
Ouvert du mardi au vendredi de 12h à 15h et de 18h à 1h30 (sans interruption le samedi)

The real deal: Ardent

There are hidden gems that one would like to keep secret, but for this one, it would be criminal not to share it with you. Whether you're a seafood lover, a meat enthusiast, or a vegetarian, everyone will find something to enjoy at Arden and its decor, which is filled with the tempting aroma of fire. Here, we love sharing, with whole pieces such as turbot, lobster, or veal chop. But you can also indulge in sublime individual plates and wash it all down with a divine selection of natural wines. And finally, end the experience with a refreshing touch, like the frozen strawberry and grilled pepper mousse with pistachio halva crumble. Good to know: lunch offers an unbeatable three-course meal for less than €25 during the week.

The "grandma"-iest: Bichettes

Feeling nostalgic for your childhood and the dishes your grandmother used to make? Why not pay a visit to Bichettes on Bichat Street? It's a small shop with the charm of a country house and flavors that will bring you comfort. Agathe and Hortense, the two founders, allow us to rediscover recipes passed down by our ancestors, cooked with local, seasonal ingredients sourced from merchants in the neighborhood, and served on our grandparents' china on raw wooden tables. A delightful feast awaits!

Bichettes
11, rue Marie-et-Louise – 10th arrondissement
Open from Wednesday to Sunday from 12pm to 2pm and from 7pm to midnight

The artsy one: Le Rhodia

Nestled in the heart of the brand new Bourdelle museum, Le Rhodia is a little culinary gem filled with nods to artist-sculptor Antoine Bourdelle's native Southwest. With a beautiful rooftop terrace, stunning views of the museum's lush garden, and a menu full of colorful, healthy, and flavorful dishes, it's the perfect blend of culture and gastronomy.

The Hottest Spot: Mala Boom

Come and challenge the flames of Mala Boom on Jean-Pierre-Timbaud street. On the orange facade, you can read " A Spicy Love Story ": the color is set, if you want to eat here, you better love spicy food. This small restaurant inspired by Sichuan cuisine offers a unique dish on its menu (to share or not), the Málà Xiāngguō. It's rich in spices, but don't worry, you still have the option to choose your level of spiciness. Get ready, it's going to be hot!

Mala Boom
42 Jean-Pierre-Timbaud Street - 11th arrondissement
Open every day for lunch and dinner, uninterrupted on weekends

The most seafood-oriented: Sur Mer

Ahoy matey, if you fancy oysters and all sorts of fish, remember just one address: Sur Mer. In this tiny restaurant with only a few tables, elbows are bumped, good wine is drunk, and above all, ocean-inspired plates specially prepared by chef Olive Davoux, our sea goddess in Paris, are savored.

Sur Mer
53, rue de Lancry – 10th arrondissement
Open on Monday from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM, on Thursdays and Fridays from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM, on weekends from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM

The Parisian Touch: Café Joséphine

It is on a lovely tree-lined square that Café Joséphine decided to settle. On one side, a restaurant with clothed tables whose sleek decoration was directly inspired by Joséphine de Beauharnais: Herringbone parquet, velvet sofas, giant peony bouquet, and dimmed lighting. On the other side, a cocktail bar inspired by the universe of Joséphine Baker, embodying freedom, aesthetics, and generosity. In this Art Deco and friendly setting, people come to enjoy well-executed traditional French cuisine.

Café Joséphine
1-3, place des 2 Écus – 1er
From Monday to Saturday, from 8 am to 1 am
Sunday from 10 am to 11 pm

The ultimate high: Créatures

What would a summer in Paris be without a rooftop with a stunning view to admire? Add delicious cuisine to the equation and you find yourself at Créatures, a place created by Julien Sebbag. Nestled on top of the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, this restaurant is an ode to the Mediterranean, to flavorful vegetables and to forks clashing over the last bites of small sharing plates.

Créatures
25, rue de la Chaussée-d'Antin – 9th arrondissement
Open every day from 10am to 1am (from 11am on Sundays)
