The Best Game Bars in Paris

Whether you're a budding strategist, a master of bluff, or a casual game enthusiast, there's nothing quite like a good game bar to spice up your evenings. In Paris, several spots offer the chance to (re)discover classics or explore new finds, all in a warm and lively atmosphere. Here’s our selection of the best game bars in Paris to get those brain cells and smiles working.

Jovial

Just a stone's throw from the Bassin de la Villette, Jovial is the first game bar with a shop in the 19th arrondissement. Created by Célia and Laurent, who are passionate about games and food, this bright and spacious place breaks the mold of typically cramped game bars. With its cozy chairs, 300 game options, and soon a terrace to bask in the sunshine, it promises exciting games in a friendly atmosphere. Here, we play, but we also eat (very) well: cheddar nachos, Cajun fries, homemade spreads, apple crumble… Everything is thoughtfully made from scratch by the two managers. When it comes to drinks, the focus is on local and organic: BAPBAP beers, sodas from the Limonaderie de Paris, and juices from Tarn, signed La Bonne Énergie. As a bonus, there are “open table” nights to meet other players and soon, a playful brunch every Sunday. Expect to pay 4€ for 2 hours of play with a mandatory drink (one beverage is enough to get another 2 hours added on).
