Where to eat ramen in Paris ?

Le Bonbon has taken a closer look at a winter treat that comes straight from Japan: the delicious and flavorful ramen. Imported from China in the early 20th century, it’s served in a bowl with noodles swimming in a broth made from fish or meat, enhanced with eggs, melt-in-your-mouth meat, and other delightful spices. If you’re already a fan, here’s where to find the best in Paris, and if you’ve never tried it, now's the perfect (good) time! Slurp.

The tastiest: Kokuban

On the bustling rue du Faubourg-Montmartre, Kokuban offers us a little slice of Japan through its authentic, healthy, and especially delicious ramen recipes. Experience the flavors of the archipelago, from Hokkaido to Okinawa and Tokyo, with a homemade tare (the secret ramen sauce), a broth that’s lighter than other ramens in Paris, and the best ingredients that true Japan has to offer. After enjoying some otsumami – Japanese appetizers – one can’t resist trying one of the ramen recipes!

à la carte: the tofu vegetarian, the classic shoyu and miso, the light shio, the crispy karaage, or the iodized ebi... All that's left for you is to slurp it all up!

The refreshing touch: The
Petit Harajuku

When the beautiful days arrive and the warmth sets in, there’s one place to visit: Petit Harajuku. With a chef who boasts 25 years of experience, having discovered the heat of the kitchen in the Japanese restaurants on Rue Saint-Anne, you can’t go wrong: if you want authentic Japanese food just like in Japan, you’re in the right spot! On the ramen side, only fresh noodles made by a Japanese artisan paired with a fantastic broth simmered for hours. And there’s a twist that has stolen our hearts: the cold ramen, or hiyashi chuka, with your choice of chicken, pork, or tofu, served with half a hard-boiled egg, veggies, wakame, bean sprouts, and pickled ginger... The secret sauce is prepared home-style by Chef Sasiko using soy sauce, sesame, and Japanese vinegar. All this, without glutamate or powders – of course! Perfect for summer when you dream of slurping noodles without warming up your throat. And if you have room left...Treat yourself to some delicious gyozas for an appetizer, a traditional matcha tea, and a red bean mochi for dessert.
