Kodawari Ramen

Passionate about Japanese culture since childhood, Jean-Baptiste has . Kodawari Ramen literally transports you to another world, where you can also enjoy one of the best ramen in Paris (and the world). If it's your first time at Kodawari Ramen, get ready for a stunning culinary and visual experience (and be prepared to wait in line). The same goes for their first location, where you're directly whisked away to the largest fish market in the world, in Tsukiji. The good news? When your taste buds crave freshness and you don’t want to dive into steaming broths, you can choose the seasonal Hiyashi veggie. Right now, on the Yokocho side, you’ll find a cold beetroot recipe, and on the Tsukiji side, there's a fresh recipe blending cucumber and grilled eggplant.

Gaijin Ramen Lab

After delighting us with their ramen kits for years on delivery apps, Gaijin Ramen Lab now has a cozy spot right in Pigalle. On the menu: 100% handmade ramen made « with passion and in the finest tradition », served hot or cold, with some limited edition options, plus donburi, sando, gyoza, and chicken karaage... In short, the best of Japan to enjoy on-site or to-go. Our favorite for warm days? The chilled ramen with homemade noodles and sesame ponzu sauce, topped with shiitake mushrooms, a marinated soft-boiled egg, bamboo shoots, and then, your choice of marinated yuzu and sancho pepper chicken slices or grilled chashu pork belly slices.

Mori Café

In this charming little Japanese micro-restaurant with its cozy wooden tables, you'll find one of the best vegetarian Japanese cuisines in the capital, prepared right behind the counter! You can enjoy ramen, whether hot or chilled for the summer, as well as soboro don (a rice bowl topped with spinach in ponzu sauce, plant-based minced meat in miso ginger sauce, and scrambled tofu) among other seasonal dishes that change throughout the year. There's lots of steaming, bubbling, and simmering going on, serving up straightforward specialties that are incredibly delicious and, as the cherry on top, entirely plant-based! What’s the dish of the moment? The Hiyashi chuka, made with cold noodles (with a gluten-free option using konjac noodles), roasted eggplant, tomatoes, cucumbers, veggie ham, onion pickles, grilled lime, nori seaweed, and a choice of homemade sauce. We're huge fans!
