Let's gather around a big table: Dalia

With its trendy decor, communal tables, lively atmosphere, and mouthwatering menu, Dalia was the delightful promise of the new season. Far from tasteless trendy spots, it surprised us with its laid-back vibe and an array of perfectly executed dishes. At the counter, while enjoying some commercial-Oriental music, we indulge in delicious Levantine cuisine; the totally addictive eggplant carpaccio, sardine tempura to dip in a finger-licking aioli harissa sauce, delightful sea bream sashimi, and incredible bites of lamb kefta, all accompanied by a well-crafted cocktail menu that leaves us satisfied. We will definitely come back for the shakshuka, without a doubt.

We are living an extraordinary experience: Shabour

We were not ready. We never imagined for a second what awaited us when entering this new restaurant, the latest addition to the Balagan team. Around the kitchen, a large marble counter welcomes, every evening, 40 food enthusiasts attracted by the neighborhood rumors. Illuminated by candlelight, we witness the poetic culinary dance orchestrated by the now legendary chef Assaf Granit. Barely seated, we are pampered, cherished, and spoiled. It must be said that the welcome is exceptionally rare, a subtle blend of professionalism and relaxed smiles. We let ourselves be enchanted by the offered gastronomic journey, a selection of homemade dishes, perfectly executed, interspersed with a cascade of delicious attentions, like this spoonful of risotto. We are delighted to present to you, thanks to Tomer, one of the pillars of this wonderful place, the menu written with ink. We absolutely recommend all the dishes! From the tartlet with caviar of eggplant, quail egg and confit tomato, to the poached scallops on a creamy labneh bed seasoned with ginger, garlic, and kefir, and not forgetting the delicious piece of game. Shabour is synonymous with gustatory pleasure! We will end on a chakratique note with a luscious serving of chocolate mousse served with a ladle. The moment is magical, timeless, the staff is passionate, and the atmosphere is jovial. We leave this charming place with a smile on our lips and one question: when are we coming back? See you soon, my beloved Shabour!

Changing the world with a good friend: Mulko

Around 8pm, we push open the doors of Mulko, an Israeli bistro already full, nestled in rue d'Enghien. The place isn't very big, which makes it warm and charming. We lean on the duck blue counter, starting to salivate as we watch Samba prepare the dishes. On the menu, a variety of cooked vegetables to accompany the beautiful selection of grilled meats and fish. It's simple, we want to taste everything! Luckily, the dishes are in small quantities. So, why choose when we can share everything? We choose the refreshing golden cauliflower, cherry tomatoes, and spring onion.

s, as well as on succulent roasted vegetables to be dipped with fingers in an addictive aioli-harissa sauce. We combine it all with a tasty braised lamb breast, cooked with fresh herbs and sweet onions. Exquisite. In short, Mulko is one of those delicious and super friendly places that we would keep to ourselves...

We swear by the authentic: Salatim

Listen up, listen up! If you haven't yet discovered this little canteen in the center of Paris, you absolutely must catch up. Salatim is THE delicious and comforting spot that comes to mind every time you have a gloomy day. We won't hide it from you, you need to arrive early or be a little patient in order to have the chance to taste the flavorful cuisine of Yariv Berreby. Aside from the delicious Salatim - big vegetarian plates (hummus, fennel, eggplant caviar, sautéed carrots...) - and if you want, a side of grilled kefhta, our absolute favorite is the schnitzel sandwich, a baguette filled with...Inside which are immersed a breaded chicken escalope and vegetables (be careful, this wonder can only be enjoyed on Wednesdays). So, how about a taste of Tel Aviv without leaving Paris?

We want to party until the early morning: Balagan

The trendy setting with its carpet and colorful benches, the chic counter overlooking the bustling kitchens, and the extremely well-executed dishes make this place a culinary experience not to be missed! We arrive at noon with a huge appetite, ready to devour what has been praised for far too long. To pass the time, we dip the bread, generously smeared with garlic oil, into the excellent homemade tahini. It's amazing, we made the right choice. This is followed by a delightful array of dishes, each one more delicious than the next; a finger-licking bruschetta from the grill, a surprising spicy beef tataki with parmesan and pistachio crumble, or their famous deconstructed kebab. We complement it all with a big and refreshing Fattouche salad, and voilà. It's simply amazing, we're telling you.

Our cozy spot to enjoy delicious food: Shouk

Recently opened by the talented Pierre Bouko Levy (Miznon and Mulko), you can find typical Israeli dishes cooked with market-fresh ingredients here at Shouk. Shouk sets itself apart with its generous, flavorful, and down-to-earth cuisine; pita, lafa (flavorful rumsteak skewers with lamb), and mesabaha (mashed chickpeas with hard-boiled egg and condiments) on one hand, kebab, grilled fish, and squid on the other. It's a delightful feast in a bright and warm setting, just a stone's throw away from the Saint-Martin canal.

Sharing a series of small dishes: Blitz

Beautiful wooden tables, trendy white wall tiles, bathed in the dim light of small hanging lamps, not to mention the gorgeous dark blue liquor bar. A wink and a few bites later, we are transported to Tel Aviv. Our absolute favorite goes to the house's hit dish: burned eggplant, black tahini, and pomegranate. A simple, tasty, and perfectly executed plate that is worth the trip.

Let's take a one-way trip to Tel Aviv: Miznon

We know, it's certainly no longer necessary to introduce it to you; Miznon has been reigning as the king of Israeli cuisine in Paris for several years now. The restaurant is actually in its 3rd opening and still uses the same recipe: tasty and generous cuisine in a joyful hubbub. On the menu, vegetables cooked to perfection (we could be satisfied with just that) like the unavoidable braised cauliflower and pittas to be composed according to your mood with excellent lamb meat, beef bourguignon, spicy fish, or a variety of other options.

cute; or perfectly seasoned falafels. A hassle-free place, where it's good to debrief with a good friend.

We indulge in a fusion cuisine: Salōn Marais

This hidden gem in the heart of Marais is full of surprises. A mix of Israeli and Mediterranean cuisine with a few Asian touches, we are fans of this true living place, or living room-like salon. Gourmet and creative dishes, Maxime and Benjamin like to mix the flavors of the Middle East Mediterranean countries to create their own "multifusion" cuisine, all in a chill and festive atmosphere! We start with an amazing basil Moscow mule with a touch of Espelette pepper before moving on to the serious stuff. On the menu among our favorite mezzes: crunchy homemade falafels revisited with various oriental spices, super tender roasted sweet potatoes with zaatar, and a beef shawarma tataki that melts in your mouth. Let's not forget their famous flavorful and aromatic shakshouka, one of their signature dishes.Do not miss. And as a true foodista, we never leave without finishing on a sweet note. We choose their caramel salted butter lost hallah, crispy and ridiculously melting, totally addictive!
