Mamine
In this cozy little spot from the 17th century, the retro decor sets the mood: everything here smells deliciously like home-cooked meals. Veal stew, dauphinoise gratin, or even a mouth-watering tarte Tatin: Mamine is a hug on a plate. We love the warm atmosphere and the generous portions that remind us of those endless Sunday meals. Perfect for a timeless moment.

The Little Rose of the Sands
A hidden gem run by Zouzou and Christian, a couple as charming as their food is generous. Belgian croquettes, duck confit, homemade chocolate mousse, and gifts in the colors of Paris: you leave here with your heart (and stomach) full! But be warned, no reservations here: to enjoy this treasure, you have to arrive early and cross your fingers to snag one of the seven tables in this mini restaurant.

Grandma Colette Montmartre
Come to my place, I'm having lunch at my grandma's. In one of the liveliest streets of Montmartre, we stop for lunch, dinner, or both at Grandma Colette’s. The motto of this cozy spot: a beef bourguignon simmered for 6 hours in its bath of vegetables, red wine, and loooove, served with an aligot that’s as melt-in-your-mouth as it is cheesy. For those who prefer a little less adventure but still want something delicious, the cheese burgers with your choice of (cantal/cheddar/blue), fries or aligot (always) warm up hearts and bodies in these tricky times. Whether you go for one or the other, “it’s not the end of the world,” as my grandma used to say, because the recipes come straight from the heart of this Auvergne grandma. And you never leave a grandma’s house disappointed. Right?
