Moemachi

A new Japanese shop with a hyper kawaii decor has recently opened its doors in the Sentier neighborhood. At Moemachi, our favorite manga characters come together and Japanese street food flows onto the small wooden tables. It's the perfect opportunity to sit down and eat the famous takoyaki made with precision and topped with our choice of sauce. But also inari (fried sushi), ramen, taiyaki (a popular fish-shaped cake in Japan), and cherry blossom or matcha mochis.

Moemachi
166, rue Saint-Denis – 2nd
Open every day

Happatei

The temple of Japanese street food on Sainte-Anne Street? It's Happatei, of course. But we warn you, if you don't like fried food, look elsewhere! Takoyaki, okonomiyaki (Japanese savory pancake), yakisoba... With an open kitchen at the heart of the restaurant, we watch everything being prepared right in front of us, and we eat it on the go. We accompany it all with a ramune (Japanese lemonade) and the game is on.

64, rue Sainte-Anne – 2e
Ouvert tous les jours

Muto Donburi

Specializing in donburi, this cute little Japanese canteen on Rue Blanche also offers bowls of heavenly udon noodles. You'll find all the creamy happiness of carbonara spaghetti, but with a Japanese twist, with shiitake, shimeji, and Paris mushrooms. And in between bites of udon noodles, don't hesitate to bite into one of their delicious takoyaki!

Muto Donburi
70, rue Blanche – 9th
Open from Monday to Saturday
