Yes, we know, it's winter, and it's tough. It's cold, it's dark, night falls at 5:30 PM, and it brings us down a bit. Luckily, Paris will soon light up from all sides to lift our spirits. Parks and gardens are about to get strung with lights, quite literally, to shine bright during the festivities and dazzle everyone. Animals, plants, and some more abstract concepts blend in unique displays to wow you just enough. Here's a little peek at what awaits you.


The Jardin des Plantes Goes Jurassic Park

After vanished animals, the infinitely large and the infinitely small, the Jardin des Plantes is doing it again for another year, and we...This time, we're offering one-way tickets to the world of dinosaurs! Get ready for an incredible nighttime tour to discover our planet 200 million years ago, where you’ll encounter marine reptiles, land and flying dinosaurs, and the first mammals on Earth. Five different environments await you, featuring all the plant and animal species that once populated our world. And to top it all off, some of the creations are animated!

Thoiry pays tribute to the creative genius of Jules Verne

Since October 27, the largest light trail in the region has opened its doors just an hour from Paris. And for this new 2024 edition, the zoo has drawn inspiration from the world of Jules Verne and his Extraordinary Voyages that filled our childhood stories. It's an exceptional narrative thread, taking us from The Mysterious Island, home to many insects, plants, and reptiles, to the "aerial adventures" of the writer, soaring over the African savannah. We then plunge into Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea.and all the way to the center of the Earth, discovering an underground world filled with prehistoric creatures. A series of surprises and extraordinary adventures to enjoy as night falls.

The Floral Park Goes Around the World

This winter, the Floral Park of Paris dresses up in a dazzling light display to introduce visitors to its Luminous Odyssey, a wonderful show that will make dreams come true for both young and old. For this second edition, the Floral Park has prepared a magical spectacle with huge silk sculptures spread over 5 hectares. Get ready to explore India, Mexico, and Thailand; and wander through the magical world of sweets that has come to life!the right of the universe of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; we stroll through a giant forest with trees over 5 meters tall, filled with all sorts of animals; we marvel at the huge whales and dinosaurs. It’s like a dream!

Light Shines on the Seine at the Domaine de Saint-Cloud

For the 4th time, the National Domaine of Saint-Cloud returns with a dazzling new edition. Over 2 km of path where every sculpture, fountain, tree, and even blades of grass are covered in a brilliant, fluorescent light installation. But don’t worry, everything is powered by reusable LED lights, so the planet is just fine. And for those who might feel daunted by such a long stroll, no worries! You can refuel along the way by stopping at one of the stands for hot chocolates!

The Jardin d’Acclimatation Makes Dinosaurs Dance

Just like dinosAuras are clearly among the most stylish creatures to have ever roamed the planet, and this year, two spaces had the brilliant idea to put them at the heart of their luminous creations.
