Tango and Tango
at the Théâtre du Rond-Point

Imagine a milonga in Buenos Aires, where on the dance floor of a bar, three actors dance and provoke each other. Juan has loved, danced, and felt despair. Jeanne wants to learn, she is drunk with desire. Ida sings and the bandoneon plays. All three traverse the history of their country, its wars and myths, its military dictatorship, its rebirths, with an original soundtrack signed by Philippe Cohen Solal, co-founder of the Gotan Project. A beautiful promise of a text by novelist, screenwriter, and director Santiago Amigorena, directed by Marcial Di Fonzo Bo.
