The Editor

At the office, we work. At the office, sometimes, we have drinks. That's pretty much all we do at the office. So, there's always music playing. To change things up a bit and because some of us have really bad taste, we use webradios a lot. Here are our favorites. RadioMeuh: Raph, our esteemed Community Manager, always wants to put on RadioMeuh. He says it's because it's independent and it comes from the mountains, which for him, are two excellent reasons. He's right, but since his argument is still a bit weak, we'll add that "honestly, they play good music", have really funny jingles, and give a great energy boost. The playlists are quite eclectic and you'll regularly come across hidden gems. The radio is based in La Clusaz, a ski resort.Rather cool, and everyone knows that skiers and surfers are ultra cool, so if you listen to RadioMeuh, it means you are cool too.

Le Mellotron

The guys from Rue Beaurepaire are really cool. We had met them for an article last year.re and since then we regularly listen to them for their playlists with exotic and really cool sounds. In addition to being a typical Parisian web radio for its combination of slashers, Le Mellotron is also a very cool bar-restaurant where you can watch live DJ sets, broadcasted on the web radio, while sipping beers. The backstage of coolness, so to speak... Personally, I discovered this awesome track thanks to them: Le Mellotron 6, rue Beaurepaire - 10th Facebook Le Tournedisque Rachel's favorite, our expert in exhibitions and electro parties. Several styles, regularly updated playlists, real gems. For those who aren't familiar, the Tournedisque is a sure bet. A friend, who isn't necessarily an expert in "trendy music" and was stuck on La Rumeur, actually found this amazing track at least two years ago and eagerly shared it with me. Today, I want to take the opportunity to thank him. Thanks, Romain.

Radiooooo: the musical time machine

With five "o's". This thing is awesome: on a world map, you choose a country, and on the timeline at the bottom, the decade (from 1900 to today). So if you feel like listening to what was happening in Uzbekistan in the 1940s, well, it's possible. Naturally, you make some incredible discoveries. Of course, the site is interactive, which allows you to add your gems to the playlists that have already been created. The more, the merrier!

RadioMarais

When you live in Paris, how can you not mention RadioMarais, the web radio that constantly dives into the heart of the music and cultural scene of the City of Light? Its eclectic programming consists of reports, interviews, music playlists, and great tips... basically, it's the web radio that comes closest to the spirit of your devoted servant and favorite digital magazine, all in a permanent state of joy and good humor.

Radio Swiss Classic

So this is my little personal plan, either to relax and wash away all the stress of the day, or to enter it gently. There are plenty of radios that play classical music, you might say, but this one has a decisive advantage: there's no ads! The only moments where you won't hear music as such are when the lady tells you in her smooth and erudite voice: "That was movement number 3 of Vivaldi's Adagio con parmigiano in D minor, performed by the orchestra from the Bruche Valley of Saint Petersburg." Finally, something in this taste. Radio Krimi So we just discovered them, and honestly I think we're going to listen to them a lot in the coming weeks.Their concept is what one could qualify as "simple and effective": only music, no ads, no blah blah, 24/7. As for the style, it's quite eclectic, ranging from classic soul to the little gem found in the vinyl collection of their music-loving friend who's a fan of calypso. They really prioritize "rare" and exclusive tunes, but it won't be rare for you to discover some hidden gems there. And on top of that, their visuals are super cool, check them out:
