A Fighting Exile at the Army Museum

Between 1939 and 1945, while the Second World War was raging, many artists, as well as intellectuals and scientists, chose to flee Vichy France to go into exile. They fled to protect themselves, but more importantly, they fled to resist even stronger. Through this new exhibition, the unique journeys of these personalities marked by exile are highlighted at the Army Museum until June 22, 2025. It’s a historical and artistic narrative that comes as part of the 80th anniversary of Liberation, aiming to be as enlightening as it is moving.

The Image as Engagement at the MEP

Clinamen at the Bourse de Commerce

C.It is in the absolutely spectacular rotunda of the Bourse de Commerce that Céleste Boursier-Mougenot is setting up this summer to present us with his latest creation: Clinamen, a multisensory, aquatic and musical installation, of unprecedented scale. Under the dome of the institution, we discover an enormous basin measuring 18 meters in diameter, reflecting all the shades of the sky above. On this blue immense expanse, white porcelain cups drift around, carried by a gentle current, producing melodious and enchanting sounds that are sure to captivate.

Niki de Saint Phalle and Jean Tinguely at the Grand Palais
