American Images at the M
EP
This is the first time a French institution is dedicating a retrospective to the Dutch artist Dana Lixenberg. And for the occasion, the MEP has chosen to showcase the demanding and profoundly human work of the photographer through her portrait of America. On the walls, dozens of images create a plural exhibition of the United States, where the artist moved in 1989, at the age of 25. Through her outsider's perspective as a foreigner, she delicately questions the myths of the American Dream, in a sensitive and touching narrative.

Facing the Sky at the Museum of Romantic Life
In a few weeks, for Valentine's Day, the Museum of Romantic Life is getting ready to reopen its doors, after long months of renovation. For this special occasion, this temple of 18th-century art will highlight the work of the artist Paul Huet, who is still too unknown to the general public. Inspired by great masters like Constable and Turner, the painter uses color to breathe life into emotions, in canvases that are as subtle as they are fascinating. This year, the institution offers us...to discover their work around the pictorial figure of the sky, to rise into the clouds for this long-awaited reopening.

The Dream Argument at the Pernod Foundation
Ricard
Until April, the Pernod Ricard Foundation invites artists Amie Barouh and Chloé Quenum to build a dialogue around the concept of dream. Together, while each in their own way, they reflect on the unbreakable ties between this unconscious state and reality, between our nocturnal reflections and the concept of creation. Here, dreams become a subject, source of inspiration, bridge between worlds, outlet or even creators of social bonds. As you wander through the rooms, works, and dreamy universes, there is just one rule: let your imagination run wild and embrace your interpretation.
