I have come to stay at the MathGoth Gallery

Three years after her passing, a Parisian gallery is paying tribute for the first time to Miss Tic, a true pioneer of committed street art in the capital. And what better place than MathGoth, just a short walk from her studio? This exhibition, designed as a genuine stroll through the universe and intimacy of the artist, blends around sixty personal items, working documents, unpublished photos, and stencils that have never been shown to the public. An entire room will also be dedicated to video, allowing visitors to dive deep into the work of Miss Tic, offering a unique insight into her creative process.

Modernity Revealed at the MEP

Beginning in the 1920s, Edward Weston, an iconic figure in American and global photography, moves away from a pictorialist style (inspired by painting codes) to embrace modernity. Through more refined, simplified snapshots, he hones his style by simplifying his compositions, eliminating artifice, and focusing on lines, shapes, and light. The result is a collection of powerful, poetic images, with more than a hundred to be showcased this fall.MEP. This is a wonderful opportunity to discover rare photographs of the artist, as well as to compare his work with that of his contemporaries, thanks to major pieces of pictorialism presented in dialogue.
