Dear Evan Hansen, at the Théâtre de la Madeleine
Musical theater aficionados must be bursting with excitement at the thought of seeing the arrival in France of the adaptation of Dear Evan Hansen, the show that has won six Tony Awards and captured the hearts of both Broadway and the West End, as well as the big screen with Ben Platt in the lead role. Now, Kevin Barnachea steps into the shoes of Evan, a high school student who feels lost and deeply lonely, longing only to be seen and heard. Through a lost letter, the disappearance of one of his classmates, and a misunderstanding, Evan gradually discovers himself and becomes someone in the eyes of the world. Directed and adapted by Olivier Solivérès, with lyrics by Hoshi, this show promises to move us and bring us a profound moment of humanity.
