Paris is hosting its "Nuit Blanche." Installations, performances, projections... It's contemporary art in all its forms that will illuminate the Parisian night on October 1st. For this 20th edition, Kitty Hartl imagines the City of Light as a dreamlike and unreal universe where anything will be possible. Among the various events that must be urgently discovered: "Purple Rain," an immersive work by artist Pierre Ardouvin at the Académie du Climat. Take a seat in a timeless setting. "I only want to see you laughing in the purple rain"... If this simple phrase is enough to have this timeless rock ballad in your head for the rest of the day, then you know where to head for Nuit Blanche. For the occasion, the Académie du Climat offers us an immersive experience for fans of the series Friends, which arrives in Paris.Experience immersive in the rhythm of the famous Prince song. Reactivated on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the event, the artwork Purple Rain is nothing other than an emblematic project of Nuit Blanche 2011. In this installation, Pierre Ardouvin stages the climate upheavals, a subject that is increasingly relevant. The visual artist, who borrows techniques from cinema to create his work, prepares an artificial purple rain illuminated by spotlights. With a preference for the society of the spectacle, he invites you to become actors by reinterpreting everyday objects.
