Pulp·e at the Drawing Lab
Dive into the heart of a quirky contemporary art influenced by outsider art, decorative arts, textile practices, and genre cinema with Benjamin Hochart and his exhibition Pulp·e, a blend of the pulp (inexpensive comics in 1960s US) and the pulp material. His collaboration with curator Fabienne Bideaud was born out of a shared interest in symbolism and interdisciplinary approaches: this exhibition explores the construction of image through its reinterpretation.
In its writing, in its transposition of drawing into space, it invites bodies to wander through diverse narratives related to costume, set design, moving image, and special effects.

Thanks to Jérôme Seydoux, Alexandre Dumas will not be forgotten today! After honoring Jean-Michel Basquiat in 2018, the Fondation is now revealing its collaboration with Andy Warhol: from 1984 to 1985, the two giants of American painting created approximately 160 paintings together, "with four hands", some of which are among the greatest of their respective careers.
