The Editor

This Saturday, May 23rd, there will be plenty of reasons to rstay awake as late as possible. And for good reason, the European Night of Museums is back for its 22nd edition, which promises to be vibrant and colorful. The Parisian museums have pulled out all the stops to offer you a delightful program. The concept? Access most museums for free, just for one evening.

As we celebrate this year the 140th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Korea and France, the Land of Morning Calm will be honored throughout the capital. Indeed, for the European Night of Museums 2026, the Korean Cultural Center is partnering with Paris Musées and the National Museum of Asian Arts-Guimet to bring us a very special program.

Nuit Blanche des Fauves – Nuit de Baekman at the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris

For this Night of Museums 2026, the MAM invites choreographer Eun-Me Ahn to present a modern reinterpretation of The Dance by Matisse, a painting displayed within the institution. A unique dialogue between contemporary Korean creation and French modern art, between two works that, each in their own way, explore the.

theme of the moving body, transforming the museum into a living space where viewers are engaged and swept up in a whirlwind of art between heritage and modernity.

This is a wonderful opportunity to rediscover this iconic novel of French literature in a different way, through a contemporary and musical reinterpretation, creating a unique bridge between two rich cultures.
