Fantasma Circus Erotica, at the Folies Bergères
The most sensual show is back in the capital to celebrate the Pride weekend! Here, the most unconfessed fantasies come to life on stage, featuring dance, strip-tease, circus, and drag. The erotic cabaret reinvents the codes of the genre to make way for freedom, in a sleek aesthetic. Differences are celebrated, and the deepest desires are embraced. Fantasma is an experience to be had — at least — once, and it’s happening on the stage of the Folies Bergères on June 26 and 27!

The Two Brothers and the Lions, at the Théâtre de l’Œuvre
Inspired by a true story, The Two Brothers and the Lions presents two twin brothers from a poor background who, through sheer determination and because they “never give up”, have achieved stunning success in Great Britain and risen to the status of billionaires. But when they wish to ensure that their daughters inherit their empire, including an Anglo-Norman island they’ve acquired, something goes wrong: the last feudal law...Still in effect in Europe is the prohibition of transmission to girls. The set design, thought out with simplicity, is particularly effective in taking us on a journey to England. But it’s the chemistry and exceptional synchronicity between the two actors that truly leaves us speechless. Lasting only an hour, the play turns out to be a wellspring of knowledge on one of the greatest success stories of the 20th century, resonating with current political issues.

Combining literature and music to create a unique stage performance that invokes memory and history? That's the challenge the Théâtre de la Concorde takes on with the musical reading of the work by author Léonor de Recondo. Seismic, at the Theatre du Petit Saint-Martin
This year, Comédie-Française is stepping outside the walls, and it’s the Théâtre du Petit Saint-Martin that welcomes Seisme, the famous play by Duncan Macmillan. To have a child or not, that's the question being explored by a couple. We become spectators of this duo, their hesitation, the thread of their thoughts. The lines flow as the love they have for each other confronts external anxieties, the fear of time passing and age catching up, as well as the dread of raising a child in a declining world. A striking, contemporary play, brought to life by Claire de La Rue du Can and Jean Chevalier from the Comédie-Française troupe.
